Elon Musk recently shared an update on Neuralink's first patient in its human clinical trials during a quick interview. Musk said he is optimistic about the results from the first patient, hoping to share by the end of this week that the patient can control a phone and computer with their mind. On January 30th, Musk posted that Neuralink's first patient successfully received the implant and was recovering well. Neuralink is recruiting patients who are quadriplegic or have ALS for the first trials of its 'Telepathy' implant.
