Transcript
00:00 Grace, your first women's warning, how are you feeling?
00:04 Yeah, it was a pretty solid day out.
00:07 A bit frustrating though, like there's two bigger teams in the peloton and they had two
00:14 riders in the break and none of the other teams really wanted to do anything to bring
00:18 that back.
00:19 I think, yeah, Bridgelane realised a bit too late that they weren't in a very strong position
00:26 and couldn't really make a difference to close the race down in the end.
00:30 So, yeah, it was a bit of a weird race but I'm quite tricky out there on my own.
00:36 But yeah, nice to do it.
00:38 But still happy with how you went personally, obviously, circumstances didn't fall in your
00:42 favour but happy with it overall?
00:44 Yeah, it was a good solid ride for me.
00:46 Obviously no result to ride home about but yeah, it was just nice to be involved.
00:52 And what do you think of the race?
00:53 Obviously it's been a buck on this item for you for a while, what do you think of this race?
00:57 Yeah, I'm keen to try the full distance.
01:00 I think it's quite iconic, that race all the way from Avalon.
01:04 But yeah, it was a good addition.
01:07 I think it can continue to build.
01:09 There's room for improvement but the race organisation did a super job.
01:15 Yeah, it was a really well done one.
01:17 And a few go-grace signs I saw out there, how was that?
01:20 Yeah, I had quite a few people out on the road cheering.
01:23 Yeah, that was really special.
01:25 Getting that local support out on the road was cool.
01:29 Thanks for that Grace.
