Binondo celebrates 430th anniversary

Officials of the Manila Chinatown Development Council, together with the local government, led by Mayor Maria Sheila Lacuna-Pangan, unveil the 'prosperity tree' to mark the 430th founding anniversary of Binondo, Manila's Chinatown, which is considered the 'oldest of its kind in the world,' at the Plaza San Lorenzo Ruiz on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024.
