00:03 Bakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional have agreed to the allocation of local council positions in Selangor.

00:10 However, Selangor Majlis Besar Amiruddin Syari said further discussions are still required to finalise the decision.

00:16 Amiruddin said the matter was not a major issue, as all concerns raised by BN were thoroughly addressed in past meetings,

00:22 with several proposals also being considered.

00:25 He also said discussions on the allocation would likely be resolved before or after the State Assembly session, or before Ramadan.

00:33 Amiruddin, who is also Selangor PH Chairman, said he would meet Selangor UMNO Chief Magat Zulkarnain Omaruddin soon to discuss the matter.

00:41 But he said all appointments are still in progress to ensure the smooth operation of local councils.

00:46 On Monday, State Executive Councillor Ng Su Lim said the quota for local council posts in Selangor's 12 local authorities is still open to BN.
