00:00 I get told off all the time for announcing stuff that I'm not meant to announce.
00:03 But I mean, what I can say is...
00:05 Mel B shares that the Spice Girls may be giving us what we really, really want, sooner than we think.
00:11 During a January 24th appearance on the Jennifer Hudson show,
00:14 the 48-year-old songstress hints that she and her former bandmates have something special in the works.
00:19 However, she admits that she can't share too many details, as she's gotten in trouble for that in the past.
00:25 So y'all gonna like have a reunion coming up?
00:27 Oh, you see, I'm the worst at it.
00:29 See, when you ask me that...
00:31 We want a reunion.
00:33 I am such... I'm such a blabbermouth.
00:35 See, they're worried about you telling it.
00:37 I get told off all the time for announcing stuff that I'm not meant to announce.
00:40 But I mean, what I can say is we're definitely working on something together, all five of us.
00:46 And by me just saying that, I'm probably gonna get into trouble again.
00:49 The 90s girl band, widely considered the best-selling female group of all time,
00:53 consisted of Mel B as Scary Spice, Victoria Beckham as Posh Spice,
00:57 Melanie C as Sporty Spice, Emma Bunton as Baby Spice,
01:01 and Jerry Halliwell as Ginger Spice.
01:03 They first rose to prominence in 1994, releasing hits like "Wannabe," "Spice Up Your Life," and "Let Love Lead the Way."
01:10 Shortly after dropping their third and final album, "Forever," the group dissolved as the singers pursued solo careers.
01:16 The last time all five of them reunited was in 2012 for an epic performance at the Olympics closing ceremony in London.

01:46 Ever since then, fans around the world have been begging the five-sim to spice up their lives once again.
01:51 However, Mel B shares not everyone has jumped on the Spice Girls bandwagon,
01:55 admitting that her three daughters, Phoenix, Angel, and Madison, could truly care less that their mom was a 90s pop star.
02:02 Saying that to this day, they can't even recognize her music.
02:05 So do they know their mom is a Spice Girl?
02:07 I don't think they care that I'm a Spice Girl.
02:11 I mean, I was playing my music the other day before we went to go and see "Hamilton."
02:16 And I was like, "Hey kids, who do you think this is?"
02:19 And they were like, "I don't know. Is it Lady Gaga?"
02:21 I was like, "No. What kind of music is this, mommy?"
02:26 I was like, "It's Spice Girls music that we wrote."
02:29 So we're like, "Really? Anyway."
02:33 As soon as they know her mom, it's just uncool.
02:35 But I think with their friends, I'm kind of cool.
02:37 Yeah.
02:38 Ish.
02:39 Scary Spice then reflects on her bond with the other Spice Girls,
02:42 saying that no matter how many records they've sold or how much time has passed,
02:46 the friendship between the British girl band members will never end.
02:50 The Spice Girls, it's your 30th anniversary.
02:53 God, that's insane.
02:57 See, when you say it like that, then I think I started when I was a Spice Girl at the age of 17.
03:04 I'm old.
03:06 I'm feeling old right now.
03:07 But it is amazing that we've managed to kind of still stay friends.
03:11 Yes.
03:11 You know, it's been 30 years.
03:12 And I think what you go through as a group, you did it by yourself.
03:16 So it's kind of different.
03:17 But as a group, you are just welded together for life.
03:22 Yeah, you're like family, right?
03:23 Because you've been through such a crazy experience.
