00:24 And Joe Astley is bringing his tour to Wigan this weekend. Described by XS Manchester as
00:29 Springsteen meets the Pogues, he'll take to the stage at Wigan Central on Sunday February
00:33 4th as part of his special run of acoustic and fiddled performances at intimate venues
00:39 across the UK and Ireland.
00:43 And a new play will be shown at The Edge this week on February 1st and February 2nd, Peak
00:49 Stuff, which is a brand new play by Northern playwright Billy Collins. We'll look at the
00:54 age of retail therapy, climate crisis and click and collect and how does our stuff define
00:59 us and how have we reached the peak stuff.
01:02 And finally, the Something New show, which takes place every month at Bailiff's Bar
01:07 Holdings cell on King Street West, has a prescription for a healthy dose of new somethings. This
01:14 month the casino improv host a mishmash of spoken words, poetry, improv, comedy, music,
01:20 storytelling and whatever else they can throw in the blender. And this takes place on Thursday
