Transcript
00:00 This Wildlife Wednesday, we're featuring a raccoon that was stuck in a sewer grate.
00:05 Our Animal Services team arrived at the scene and found that she was stuck head
00:10 down. After several attempts, they decided to state her and called our friends at
00:16 the Guelph Fire Department to help pry open the grill. Once back at the Guelph
00:21 Humane Society, our team was able to warm her up, melt the ice on her paws and
00:26 examine her for injuries. Fortunately, this raccoon was found to be healthy and
00:31 she did not sustain any long-term injuries. Officer Asha took her back into
00:35 the field where she was safely released into the wild. A special thank you to our
00:40 friends at the Fire Department for all of your help and assistance in this case.
