00:00 Coach Dishman, can you tell us what excited you most about this job?
00:06 The opportunity to improve the program, the opportunity to build young men and be mentors
00:14 to young men, to be able to set them, as Dr. Granger said, one thing is I want to be able
00:23 to build young men to be better fathers, better brothers, better uncles, just better people
00:29 in the whole.
00:30 So I take that challenge to do that.
00:34 Well, it's a rivalry, you know, Bubba and I, like I said, you guys know this, Bubba
00:42 and I have been friends for years.
00:44 It's crazy.
00:45 The first time Bubba ever cursed was he cursed at me.
00:48 That was his first time ever cursing, so I went and told him, I said, "Bubba, you're
00:54 cursing right now, huh?"
00:55 He was trying to be grown by cursing, but, so like I said, it's got to be a fun rivalry
01:03 and for the next four years, it's going to be great to have the trophy here at TSU.
01:09 Well, my first priority, I think I already accomplished.
01:13 We got a great coaching staff that's coming in here.
01:16 They're ready to work.
01:18 I have two great strength coaches who is going to do our best to get our guys in shape and
01:25 turn them over to the coaches by the spring ball.
01:29 So like I said, the staff, I'm excited to get to work.
01:32 I'm excited to go out into Houston and recruit.
01:34 You know, I have my recruiting clothes in the car, so once I leave here, I got to change
01:38 and go recruit, you know?
01:39 So I got to get to work on that aspect.
01:42 I'm also excited to have just the opportunity to build something, you know, and make it
01:48 our way.
01:49 I keep telling the coaches, it's not my team, it's not my job, it's our job.
01:55 So I figure if we can do it as our, then I think it will work a little bit better.
