A high speed chase through Farnham town centre ensued after a car 'drifted' out of Castle Street in front of a police car on July 29, 2023.
Officers activated their blue lights with the intention of stopping the driver, but the driver didn't stop.
Instead they 'cut up' a member of the public as they drifted around a corner before reaching speeds of 92mph in a 30mph limit and then travelled through a red light at a busy junction on the wrong side of the road.
As the driver didn't stop, officers attended the registered keeper's home address where the driver identified themselves.
The driver was taken to court for failing to stop and dangerous driving, where they pleaded guilty.
They were slapped with a community order, rehabilitation activity, 200 hours unpaid work, a 16 month disqualification then an extended test, and a £199 fine.
