00:00 I'm going to go. Yeah, we are.
00:08 I think that.
00:10 Yeah.
00:30 Yeah.
00:58 Yeah.
01:27 I'm sorry.
01:30 once again.
01:34 today. Welcome to our very first episode.
01:39 and this is our very first for this year.
01:46 the very beautiful and very eloquent.
01:51 Hello. Hi, everyone.
01:58 I'm doing great.
02:06 viewers.
02:09 I am.
02:12 I'm.
02:20 Yeah. Yes. Yeah.
02:24 I'm.
02:31 I'm.
02:41 and this is an action comedy.
02:45 clips.
02:53 and it's.
03:01 comedy.
03:05 and it's.
03:09 working with.
03:12 It's an honor for me to have this kind of opportunity.
03:28 and growing.
03:44 I'm.
04:00 I'm.
04:14 first time.
04:17 and
04:20 I'm.
04:32 I'm.
04:46 I'm.
04:49 I'm.
05:03 together and.
05:07 facial expressions.
05:11 I'm.
05:19 I'm.
05:23 I'm.
05:27 I'm.
05:33 So, it's it's safe to say.
05:39 direct.
05:45 So, when it comes to acting.
05:49 when you're getting into your character.
05:52 let's say.
05:56 I'm.
06:03 I'm.
06:07 I'm.
06:13 I'm.
06:17 I'm.
06:23 I'm.
06:26 years.
06:29 I'm.
06:32 I'm.
06:35 I'm.
06:38 I'm.
06:41 correct. So, before you get in in front of the camera.
06:46 in character.
06:50 So, Tia, has it always been your dream to be in showbiz?
06:56 Yes.
06:58 I was born in England and when we went to the Philippines.
07:02 five years old.
07:04 I was in showtime.
07:18 showbiz industry.
07:25 I'm.
07:33 and then eventually.
07:39 Yes.
07:42 So,
07:45 you're going to have a lot of rejection for sure.
08:04 Well, actually, I've been rejected so many times, especially commercials because I started auditioning with commercials and there's a lot of times that you get rejected.
08:14 And
08:17 audition.
08:21 then it's not.
08:24 be patient.
08:28 industry.
08:30 patience is really important.
08:35 You should feel okay.
08:45 You just have to keep on going. If that's what you love doing, then don't stop until you get your dream.
08:52 So, Tia, at an early age,
09:20 actually, my mom played a big role with that.
09:23 She's the one who taught me because, of course, before I was still very young when I auditioned.
09:29 Of course, I feel upset.
09:31 Sometimes I cry.
09:34 But my mom is the one who really opened my eyes to the situation.
09:40 You shouldn't be upset because there are still a lot of opportunities that will come to you.
09:45 And if it's really for you, then it's really for you.
09:49 You should just wait for those kinds of opportunities.
09:52 So, my mom played a big role with that.
09:56 In that mindset.
09:58 Perfect.
10:00 Speaking of opportunity, this is one of the recent opportunities that came to you.
10:05 This movie that my dad will be casting you in.
10:08 What is the life lesson that you think your viewers will learn from this movie?
10:15 To be honest, I think they will learn only crazy things.
10:20 I'm not joking.
10:21 But, I think, in terms of father and daughter bonding,
10:29 our relationship with Uncle Jano as my father in this movie,
10:34 you will value your father more because he's like a partner in crime here
10:39 because we are the ones who fight together.
10:42 So, that's one thing.
10:45 And another thing is how important peace is because I don't want to spoil it.
10:53 But at the end, we won't be fighting anymore.
10:59 So, it will be peaceful at the end.
11:01 Yes. Actually, when I watched your trailer,
11:06 I was curious about the part where you said,
11:08 "Because you're the one who's doing the voiceover for the trailer."
11:12 So, I'm curious about the part where your father changed
11:17 and he became a fighter and a strong man who protects you.
11:21 So, what was the turning point of Mr. Jano Gibbs that we should look forward to in the movie?
11:27 Yes. For me, just watch it to know.
11:33 But this movie is a mix of emotions.
11:38 It's like a lot of things happen in one movie.
11:42 So, just wait for how Mr. Jano's character suddenly switches up.
11:48 Going back to the rejections that you experienced before,
11:54 was there a time that after getting a rejection,
11:59 you thought of quitting your showbiz career?
12:03 Yes. There was a time that I thought,
12:08 "Maybe show business is not for me. Maybe I should just focus on my career."
12:13 But there's just something with me that I can't leave showbiz.
12:18 I'm really enjoying it.
12:20 And if you really love what you're doing, if you're passionate with your career,
12:25 if you really want to do it even if it's hard,
12:29 you will be able to do it until you become successful in what you really love.
12:35 And definitely, there's a place in the industry for Sia Vigor.
12:40 Because you're going back and forth in the industry.
12:45 It's the universe way of telling you that you're like in this industry.
12:52 I hope so.
12:55 Now, I want to talk about your past projects.
13:01 You mentioned earlier that you came from Showtime.
13:06 You became the grand winner of Mini Me Too.
13:09 So, do you miss going back to the Noontime Show?
13:16 Yes, I miss it too.
13:24 That's where I started.
13:26 But I hope that if I get a chance, I would definitely take that opportunity.
13:34 So, I really miss it.
13:37 And I hope I get a chance to be a part of a Noontime Show again.
13:43 And Sia, you're one of those certified Showtime babies.
13:50 Because that's where your career really started.
13:53 That's where you really got to know each other.
13:55 And your projects followed one another.
13:57 And if ever you're asked to go back to the Noontime Show,
14:04 will you say yes right away?
14:06 Of course, I will accept that opportunity.
14:13 And if I don't have any projects, then I would definitely take that opportunity.
14:21 Because it's a good exposure.
14:24 And if you're part of Noontime Shows like that, you have a big influence on people.
14:29 So, as an actor, you want to inspire other youths.
14:38 Especially like me, in my position with my platforms,
14:42 I always want to take the opportunity to inspire the youth.
14:45 The people who are going through something, or stressed, or have depression.
14:51 I really want to help them.
14:53 And I know that artists are really helping people in entertainment.
15:00 So, that's probably one of the biggest purposes as an artist.
15:07 To be able to inspire other people, to reach their dreams.
15:12 So, for me, that's one of my purposes.
15:16 Why I really want to pursue being an artist.
15:20 I love making people happy and I wish I can continue to do this forever.
15:25 It's really fun because at a very early age, right?
15:30 And even when we met you, when you were just starting out,
15:33 you were still a kid.
15:35 Your mindset is really fun.
15:37 And your purpose is clear, why you're in this industry.
15:41 For you, this is not just work or fame.
15:46 It's more on your advocacy, right?
15:50 To be able to touch people and inspire them.
15:53 Yes.
15:55 And aside from showbiz, I saw that you have another interest.
16:03 This is football.
16:05 Yes, you're right.
16:08 I saw that your eyes were shining.
16:12 Yes.
16:15 Actually, when I wasn't doing any projects,
16:19 we were staying in Iloilo and that's my biggest hobby.
16:24 I practice football almost everyday.
16:27 And it's just something that I love doing.
16:30 Maybe if I'm not an artist,
16:34 I would like to be a professional football player.
16:38 That's great, Zia.
16:41 I would like to ask you, if you're not an artist,
16:43 what do you think you're doing now?
16:45 Do you feel that you can be a professional football player?
16:50 Yes, but of course, because I'm in showbiz,
16:55 and this is one of the things I really like to do,
16:58 football is just my hobby, but I love doing it.
17:01 It makes me happy.
17:02 When I have free time, I really like to play football.
17:08 In our country, football is not the top of mind of people.
17:16 We can see a sample of Zia's Instagram account.
17:20 So, Zia, going back to what I'm saying,
17:23 in our country, it's not the first sport that comes to mind.
17:28 More on basketball, volleyball, before you think of football.
17:33 What can you say to encourage people to explore sports in football?
17:40 Actually, I feel like football should be the main sport in the Philippines
17:47 because anyone can play it, no matter what size, height.
17:51 The best football players, even if they're small,
17:55 even 5'4", usually because basketball,
17:58 you have to be tall if you want to be a professional player.
18:02 So, I think football is a really good sport for Filipinos.
18:07 I hope many young people will try it.
18:10 Actually, I'm happy whenever I post something about football on TikTok.
18:15 A lot of people comment that they want to start playing football.
18:20 I influence them, and that just makes me happy
18:23 because my favorite football players influence me to join and play football.
18:30 So, just to think that I got to influence other people into joining a sport
18:35 is something really big for me, and that makes me happy.
18:38 So, I hope many people will try it
18:40 because whenever I play football, I feel joy in my heart.
18:46 And I want everyone to try that.
18:48 If football is for you, then I'm happy that you tried it.
18:52 And with that, Zia,
18:55 I think you should continue to share your hobby, football,
19:00 so that many people will be inspired.
19:02 Because there's a notion here in the Philippines
19:05 that football is an expensive sport.
19:08 It's not like basketball where you can only see it in certain areas.
19:13 But it's a revelation, Zia.
19:15 I'm happy because I just found out that football is not like basketball
19:21 where it has a height requirement.
19:24 As long as you can train and learn, you can play.
19:28 Yes. Actually, football is not an expensive sport.
19:33 As long as you have a ball, or even if it's not a football ball,
19:38 if you want to practice, you don't have to start joining a club right away.
19:44 You can just play anywhere, even on the grass, on the playground.
19:49 You can start. It's just like basketball.
19:53 Perfect.
19:54 Instead of, you know, young people are too low on social media.
19:59 And speaking of social media,
20:01 what's your stand on young people using social media?
20:05 Because you're a part of the youth now, Zia.
20:08 Actually, this is a really great topic.
20:11 Because social media is a big part of the youth's lives now.
20:17 And social media has a huge impact on the youth.
20:24 Because it can either make you sad, or it can make you happy.
20:30 It has a huge influence.
20:31 So it's really important that we be aware of what we watch,
20:37 of the things we use social media for.
20:41 Because it can destroy us.
20:45 It can make us a better person.
20:47 It can add knowledge to us, or it can pollute our minds.
20:52 That's one of the big things.
20:53 So let's be careful in using social media.
20:57 And let's be choosy about what we watch.
21:02 Because this is really important now.
21:04 Because we're almost invading social media.
21:07 It's like when you wake up, you will open your social media.
21:11 You will scroll, scroll.
21:13 So we should also be careful on how we use it.
21:17 And in our comments,
21:19 if we don't have anything nice to say to people on social media,
21:23 let's not talk about it.
21:25 And like this, like Pep, and the press people and bloggers,
21:31 you can either make or break a person.
21:34 So I hope that social media's influence on people will be good.
21:40 And I hope that it will be a good influence,
21:44 just like the artists and platforms that we use.
21:49 It's important that we can pollute what we post,
21:52 and not trash or things that can pollute our minds.
21:57 I love it. I love it, Sia.
22:00 Your presentation about social media is so beautiful.
22:03 It's so clear to you what the good effect of it is,
22:07 and what the bad effect of social media is.
22:10 Because honestly, we're already mature and we're still affected.
22:15 What more, the youths who still need guidance, right?
22:19 So what you said about social media is so beautiful.
22:22 It either can make you or break you.
22:25 Yes.
22:27 So going back to the film,
22:30 so we're not too serious, Sia.
22:32 When you're having a hard time with the scene you're doing,
22:36 how do you overcome it?
22:39 Actually, there's a lot of times.
22:44 Especially when I was given the most opportunities,
22:49 the movie Miracle in Cell No. 7.
22:52 And of course, I was 10 years old at that time.
22:55 I wasn't really a pro at acting.
22:57 I was with veterans,
22:59 so it was a pressure for me to be equal with their acting.
23:02 Because they're already veteran actors,
23:05 I was just a cat in that movie.
23:08 But I tried my best in the heavy scenes.
23:12 I internalized before each scene.
23:16 And Uncle Raymond Bagat Ching helped me a lot in that movie.
23:21 He taught me how to be effective in my crying,
23:28 and how to deliver lines.
23:30 So I'm very thankful to Uncle Raymond Bagat Ching.
23:33 So how do I prepare myself?
23:36 Maybe when it's a heavy scene,
23:38 20 minutes before the scene,
23:41 I don't want someone to talk to me.
23:44 I want to be in one corner.
23:46 And I feel like I'm in that situation.
23:51 My dad helped me.
23:54 He helped me with the pain and the heaviness.
23:59 And it was a big help to internalize before each scene.
24:04 So that's what I do when I have a heavy scene in Miracle.
24:09 And those are the projects that I'm doing now.
24:13 I'm really amazed and amazed by you, Sia.
24:20 Because you're so detailed.
24:23 Like 20 minutes before you join,
24:26 you're already in character.
24:28 You're that specific.
24:30 You're so clear about your craft as an artist,
24:35 as an actress.
24:37 Thank you.
24:38 Is it safe to say, Sia,
24:41 that you can see yourself doing this for a long time?
24:44 Being an actress.
24:46 Yes, because it's really something that I love to do.
24:50 So I hope I can continue.
24:53 I hope there are more projects that I can do
24:58 so that I can continue my dream.
25:01 So that I can inspire and make millions of Filipinos happy.
25:07 You mentioned, Sia,
25:10 that in your experience in Miracle in Cell No. 7,
25:14 you worked with established actors.
25:17 Did you experience getting scolded by your co-stars?
25:22 Or did you see your fellow stars getting scolded in a project?
25:28 For me, the veteran actors in Miracle,
25:33 I never got scolded.
25:35 They're so kind.
25:37 But sometimes, of course,
25:40 I know the pressure of Director Noel because he's an MFF.
25:47 Sometimes, he's not really mad.
25:49 But he would tell me, "Sia, this scene is really difficult.
25:54 You should really prepare for this."
25:56 That's how it is.
25:57 I wasn't scolded or anything.
26:00 That's why I'm very happy with the crowd of people in Miracle.
26:04 They're so kind.
26:06 And because they're stars, they're so humble.
26:09 And I think that's one thing that's important to an artiste.
26:13 If you want to go far, it's important to stay humble.
26:18 Correct.
26:19 They say that in the showbiz industry, you should be a sponge.
26:22 What the veteran actors teach you, the established actors,
26:28 you should be open and absorb
26:31 because it can also help you as an actor.
26:34 Yes.
26:36 -This is... -You need to have instructions.
26:40 Correct.
26:42 This is, before we go,
26:44 before we read some of our comments,
26:47 I saw that you were really happy with your answers, Sia.
26:50 Among the actors that you've worked with,
26:53 who scared you the most or made you nervous?
26:57 I don't think there's anyone.
27:05 Actually, everyone that I've worked with so far,
27:11 they're the ones who help me to make my scenes look good.
27:18 So far, I haven't been scared by any actors
27:24 in any projects that I've worked on.
27:27 I love it.
27:29 I'm grateful for that.
27:31 I love it.
27:34 Because I remember you also did a provincial role.
27:37 It's a bit difficult to do a provincial role.
27:41 Yes.
27:42 But that was my first ever teleserie that I worked on
27:46 as a mini-mean actor.
27:48 So, I did it in the province.
27:50 It's great that the shows that you worked on
27:54 served as training for you
27:56 to be on your way to being an actress.
28:01 I want to read some of our comments, Sia.
28:05 I saw earlier, "Superstar in the making."
28:08 From Charles Law, "So proud."
28:11 Thank you, Charles.
28:13 We still have some comments that we can read.
28:19 From Angie, "A good model and an influencer."
28:23 "When she answers, it's like 'Miss you, actually.'"
28:27 Thank you.
28:31 Annette, let's read another comment.
28:37 Okay.
28:38 From Angie again, "You were born to be a superstar, Sia."
28:44 "Totoo."
28:45 Sia, you're so good at answering.
28:49 Thank you.
28:51 Now, we'll move on to the PEP Challenge.
28:56 Our PEP Challenge today is Top of Mind.
29:04 [music]
29:09 Sia, here you go.
29:12 Totoo.
29:14 What we'll do is, I'll give you questions or instances.
29:20 You just need to answer quickly.
29:23 Whatever comes to your mind first,
29:26 you don't need to filter it.
29:28 You'll say it right away.
29:29 Game?
29:32 Okay, game.
29:34 Okay, game.
29:35 Let's go.
29:36 For our first Top of Mind, "Love team partner."
29:40 I don't have one.
29:42 I don't have one in mind, the love team partner.
29:48 Okay.
29:49 Next, "Give me three local artists that you want to work with."
29:54 Miss Jacqueline Busset,
29:59 Raymond Bagatching,
30:00 Oh my gosh, I don't have one in mind.
30:06 I'll accept anyone I'm given.
30:11 I don't have one in mind.
30:13 So that's Jacqueline Busset,
30:15 Raymond Bagatching.
30:18 And the third one, "Anyone, Sia is open because she's a sponge
30:23 that can absorb learnings."
30:26 Correct?
30:28 Okay, next.
30:30 "Choose only one, horror, comedy, or drama."
30:33 Go.
30:34 Drama.
30:36 Drama.
30:39 Okay, next.
30:40 "Rank 1 to 3, singing, dancing, acting."
30:43 Number 3.
30:44 I'm at the bottom of the list.
30:48 I'm the furthest.
30:49 Singing,
30:51 then dancing,
30:54 and then acting.
30:56 Okay.
30:57 Next.
30:58 "Three of your most favorite projects that you did."
31:02 Miracle in Cell, number 7.
31:05 "Your face sounds familiar."
31:09 Tutumbahan ng tatay ko.
31:10 Perfect.
31:12 And last, "One word that best describes the following."
31:17 Una is showtime.
31:18 One word.
31:19 Fun.
31:22 Okay, next.
31:24 "Your face sounds familiar."
31:25 Yes.
31:26 Exciting.
31:28 Next, "Ang probinsyano."
31:30 Barilan.
31:35 Next, "Miracle in Cell," number 7.
31:40 Iyak.
31:43 And next, "Itutumbahan ng tatay ko."
31:47 Astig.
31:50 There, astig.
31:52 Nakakato.
31:53 I like that you're really trying to act.
31:57 But here, I'll give you time to think of the last one
32:03 that you want to work on, a local star.
32:05 Okay, who else now, if you're thinking of one.
32:08 Local artist.
32:13 Yes.
32:15 Um...
32:17 Sino ba?
32:25 Foco Martín or Mario Rivera, Ding Dong Dantes.
32:30 At least Sara G.
32:32 Ay, Sara G.
32:34 Perfect.
32:36 Ayan naman, on to our next question.
32:39 "Ano naman ang dream project ni Sia?"
32:44 Dream project?
32:57 Local to?
33:00 Hindi po.
33:02 Ano po siya? Hollywood.
33:23 So, ano 'to?
33:30 And sana maging ano, no?
33:32 Maging maabot talaga at magawa talaga.
33:35 Ito naman, five to ten years from now, Sia,
33:39 i-manifest mo na, ano ba yung gusto mong ma-achieve
33:43 at makilala si Sia Vigor?
33:45 Five to ten years from now...
33:49 Siguro po, I want to be able to reach more people
33:58 and help them...
34:03 matulungan ko sila through my entertainment, sa showbiz,
34:09 sa mga things na ginagawa ko.
34:12 Sana makapagpasaya pa ako ng maraming tao.
34:15 And also, one of my dreams then is to have my own organization
34:20 ng mga fur animals and fur the people.
34:35 na going through hard times in their life,
34:38 and yung mga nade-depressed,
34:42 and yung mga nagsustruggle talaga sa mental health,
34:45 gusto ko matulungan sila.
34:46 So that's one of my goals talaga, na magkaroon ng ganung klaseng organization.
34:51 And fur animals, gusto ko ng organization na I can help stray dogs and cats.
35:13 So I want to be able to help them.
35:16 And siguro last is to study in a drama school sa Finland.
35:22 Gusto ko mas ma-master at mas maging effective yung acting ko
35:28 and to be a better actress.
35:43 like, di ba, 5 to 10 years from now,
35:49 medyo nahihirapan sila.
35:51 Gusto lang nila magkaroon ng magandang projects and all.
36:03 And I resonate so much lalo na sa mga pets.
36:13 Kasi po, personally for me,
36:16 I had a friend who committed suicide.
36:31 Minsan, you feel like you're happy and okay,
36:42 and something na you suffer.
36:56 and so many things happening around the world.
36:59 I just hope for the best sa mental health ng mga tao
37:02 dahil this is something that is commonly suffered from ng maraming tao.
37:11 And I don't want any parent or family or friend to go through that again.
37:17 Kasi sobra po ako sakta nun.
37:20 I cried for like almost every day mula nung nangyari 'yon.
37:24 And I just hope na hindi na 'yon mangyari ulit kahit kanino,
37:28 yung sakit na gano'ng nararamdaman.
37:30 And just for someone to think na they want to end their life,
37:35 yung thinking lang na 'yon,
37:38 sobrang there's a lot of things that you can do,
37:42 sobrang lawak ng mundo.
37:44 And for you to think that, sobrang concerning talaga.
37:47 And gusto kong makatulong sa mga tao ganun.
37:50 So I hope that everyone watching here,
37:53 please prioritize your mental health and strengthen your minds
37:58 and meditate.
38:01 Meditation, malaking tulong po 'yon to have peace
38:05 and eat healthy 'yon talaga.
38:09 Stay hydrated.
38:10 Yung mga simple things ganun to calm yourself
38:18 So sobrang it's a really important topic na 'yon
38:21 and sana marami pang maging awareness tungkol dito
38:33 And we are with you, with your advocacy.
38:44 pag-exercise,
38:45 and yung pagkuhan ng,
38:47 pagbilad mo sa araw, sa umaga, di ba?
38:51 Malaki yung naitutulong nun sa mental health mo
38:53 and sa state of mind mo
38:55 para maitawid mo yung araw-araw mo.
38:58 And important talaga na na-adjust natin yung mga mental health issues.
39:02 And nakakatawa, Sia, at a very young age, tulad ng nasasabi ko nga kanina pa,
39:11 at pinag-uusapan.
39:13 Apo. Thank you po.
39:16 Ayan.
