00:16 including plans to use it more in staff training,
00:19 youth education, and to share experiences
00:22 in the virtual world.
00:23 Well, regulators expressed concern, however,
00:25 about the tech developments and highlighted
00:28 how privacy laws for companies need to be considered,
00:31 as one size does not fit all as it stands.
00:34 Well, the upcoming elections were also discussed,
00:36 and what Meta and other tech giants are doing
00:39 to stamp out misinformation across platforms.
00:42 Well, panel member Sir Martin Sorrell,
00:44 who's the executive chair of S4 Capital,
00:47 shared his view with Euronews
00:48 on the task at hand for the tech giants.
00:51 Something like four billion people are going to the polls,
00:55 and I think there is 70 countries involved.
00:59 So the answer is it's going to be super tough.
01:02 But the answer to the question is, I think, self-regulation.
01:06 And the platforms are going to have to spend a lot of time
01:12 and effort on making sure that electorates are protected.
01:16 But of course, it's easier said than done.
01:19 So a tough one.
