00:02 Ooh, funniest co-star.
00:05 Ah, this is such a hard question
00:07 because everyone is so funny in their own way.
00:11 Obviously, Tim Meadows is gonna make me cackle.
00:15 Tina Fey is gonna make me cackle.
00:18 Renee is so funny.
00:20 Renee is so, so funny.
00:21 Avantika is so funny.
00:23 Chris is really funny
00:24 'cause he doesn't even realize he's being funny.
00:26 He's just kinda funny in his own little way.
00:30 But I think the person that, yeah,
00:32 who always just makes me laugh is Renee.
00:34 Like, she, oh God, she's just so funny.
00:36 (upbeat music)
00:38 Me.
00:39 I am the only co-star that sends voice memos
00:43 and everyone hates me for it
00:46 because I hate texting, I'd much rather call,
00:49 and so I'm the person who sends four-minute-long voice memos
00:55 that literally no one's going to listen to.
00:57 (upbeat music)
00:59 Well, Avantika's really hit or miss.
01:02 Sometimes she'll respond like that,
01:05 within the instant, or it'll be days, weeks sometimes.
01:10 But also, she's a student at Columbia,
01:14 so she has some things going on, you know?
01:17 - How many unread texts do you have on your phone?
01:19 - This morning when I woke up,
01:20 I had 150 unread text messages on my phone.
01:23 - You're gonna be sending a lot of voice texts today.
01:25 - Yes, I will be sending a lot of voice memos.
01:28 (upbeat music)
01:31 Would definitely be Angourie.
01:34 She's always there, even though most of the time
01:36 she's in Australia, the time difference is not convenient,
01:40 but I'd be like, "Girl, I'm in jail."
01:42 And she'll be like, "I got you."
01:44 Angourie would definitely bail me out.
01:46 (upbeat music)
01:49 Oh, that's crazy.
01:50 Definitely not Renee.
01:52 I think Renee finds things like that amusing,
01:56 but she's such a girl's girl, she would be there like,
01:58 "No, you can't spend the night here.
02:01 "You're coming home."
02:02 A part of me feels like Avantika
02:04 would find something amusing about that.
02:07 Maybe Aulie would find something amusing about that,
02:10 if she knew, obviously everyone would only do this
02:13 if they knew that I was in good hands.
02:15 We're all very close, and we look after each other.
02:17 (upbeat music)
02:21 Oh my God, this is such a hard question
02:23 because literally everyone in this cast
02:26 has such a beautiful, beautiful voice.
02:29 I mean, Aulie, obviously, what an incredible singer.
02:34 So, so incredible.
02:36 Renee, too.
02:37 I mean, they are sort of like beltresses
02:40 in this way that I adore.
02:43 Like, I really can't like, scrub my face off.
02:45 That's not the type of singer that I am.
02:48 So, I would love to experience that.
02:51 (upbeat music)
02:54 Okay, so last night I was literally hanging out
02:56 with Daniel Francese at the Being Girls, you know, premiere.
03:01 It was incredible.
03:03 And he was like, "Literally call me anytime.
03:05 "Like, let's do something together."
03:07 And so I will say him because, I mean, first of all,
03:10 he's absolutely hysterical and so talented
03:12 and literally so sweet.
03:14 I adore him.
03:16 - And what movie would you co-star in together?
03:18 - Maybe like a buddy cop movie without cops.
03:22 I don't know what that even means.
03:24 Like, Thelma and Louise, but like us, you know?
03:27 - Would it have the same ending?
03:28 - I actually have never seen it.
03:30 - Oh.
03:31 - But it's okay, it's okay.
03:32 You didn't spoil anything.
03:33 You didn't spoil anything.
03:34 - Oh, no.
03:34 - I'm kind of crazy. - It's a wonderful ending.
03:36 - I know that that movie is so legendary
03:39 and there's been so many opportunities
03:40 in which like, I probably should have watched it.
03:43 But I know that it's like so iconic
03:46 that it was never the right time.
03:47 It was always like, oh, we're just like hanging out
03:50 with friends and let's just like throw on Thelma and Louise.
03:52 But I'm like, no, no, no, no, no.
03:53 Like we kind of have to like make an event of it,
03:55 I feel like.
03:56 (upbeat music)
03:58 Ooh, Jacquel is always singing.
04:03 Rene as well.
04:04 And I think they're always kind of just like doing runs
04:08 and riffs and just like singing.
04:10 Like not even a specific song, but just like singing
04:14 and making beautiful, beautiful noise.
04:16 Apparently Rene and Jacquel's like dressing rooms
04:19 are next to each other.
04:20 And Rene was like, oh my God, just getting to hear Jacquel
04:23 like sing to himself was like amazing.
04:25 They sang through the dressing room walls,
04:28 like at each other, which is really sweet.
04:31 (upbeat music)
04:33 So, okay, I think of Vontica's hidden talent
04:37 is she can touch her thumb to her wrist,
04:39 which is horrifying, but also very Karen.
04:43 Like I feel like Karen can totally do that, you know?
04:48 She showed me the other day and I was like,
04:50 girl, are you okay?
04:51 Like, it looks really painful.
04:52 And her like knuckle cracked, like right as I have it,
04:55 I was like, wow, this is like, this is a lot.
04:57 Can you do that?
04:58 No, I can't even get anywhere near, like what?
05:02 Like, there's no way, there's no way that's happening.
05:06 I know that Rene, I think can say the alphabet backwards
05:10 really, really quickly.
05:12 I think I've seen her do it before,
05:15 but also like so much happened on the set of "Mean Girls,"
05:18 like everything kind of blurs together,
05:20 but I'm almost certain I've seen her do that before.
05:22 And Gowrie is an incredible baker.
05:26 Like she is sort of the mother, I think, of the group.
05:31 She was always like baking us breads
05:35 and baking us cakes and muffins.
05:38 And she would like have us over to her house in New Jersey
05:42 where we shot the movie and we would just like make food.
05:46 She always brought her lunches to set
05:48 and like these really cute little boxes.
05:49 Like she's just like so put together and so cute.
05:51 And like on the weekends she just cooks
05:54 and that's her hidden talent.
05:55 She's like an amazing, amazing chef.
05:58 My hidden talent.
06:00 I make playlists for people.
06:01 I like to prescribe songs to people.
06:05 Like I'm like prescribing medicine to them.
06:07 Like tell me how you feel.
06:09 And they're like, oh, this is how I feel.
06:11 And then I send them a song to like help them
06:13 or match their mood or something like that.
06:16 - You're a DJ.
06:17 - Yeah, I'm a DJ.
06:18 My soul, yeah, I'm a DJ.
06:21 (upbeat music)
