00:21 Despite the constant remindering and operation of the authorities, this morning, more than 30 motorists were caught here.

00:35 Past 5 o'clock, the DOTR, SAIC, and Special Action and Intelligence Committee on Transportation started the operation against the illegal passengers on the busway.

00:47 Only buses, government and emergency vehicles can pass through EDSA busway.

00:53 Next, the motorcyclists, taxi and private vehicles were caught.

00:59 Some of our contacted said they know it's prohibited but they are just in a hurry because they are late for work.

01:05 Others don't know that it's prohibited to pass through here.

01:09 One person who was caught was also in a private vehicle and was wearing an LTO uniform.

01:16 DOTR, SAIC, and Special Action and Intelligence Committee verified the driver's identity.

01:23 He refused to be interviewed in front of the camera.

01:26 But he said he thought there was an accident so he will respond.

01:30 He was lucky that the traffic here was slow because of the operation he was doing.

01:35 He thought there was an emergency.

01:37 He was still stopped by the authorities.

01:40 The motorcyclist was charged with disregarding traffic sign and entering the busway in violation of a fine of P1,000.

01:47 Aside from the fine, the motorcyclists will be charged with demerit points under the traffic law.

01:52 If the 40 points are used up, they can be suspended or their license can be reimbursed.

01:57 We were caught at the airport.

02:01 The one from San Carlos City, Pangasinan, my cousin, was a bit late.

02:06 We were in a hurry so I was in a hurry to pass through here.

02:10 I didn't know that this would happen.

02:13 I was caught in the traffic. I was in a hurry because I was late for work. It was already 6 o'clock.

02:18 The authorities are continuing to carry out the operation here in Makati, in the Magallanes area,
