00:00 Obviously the stakes are, but when you're out there on the field,
00:04 it seems like teams are, it seems like teams, the game plan is just on point.
00:10 Because I look at it like, or it feels like, you don't have any room for error.
00:17 Like coach was talking about earlier in the week,
00:21 it's like, throughout the course of the season,
00:23 you make a mistake, you drop a ball, something happens.
00:29 You got more plays, you know what I mean?
00:31 But this is when to go home, so it's like the margin for error is much more.
00:38 >> So what you did to them the last time on Christmas Eve,
00:41 [BLANK_AUDIO]
00:42 Plan's gonna be to try to slow you?
00:45 >> I don't know, I mean, I can't predict that.
00:50 I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
00:52 >> Staying like that, not shadow, correct?
00:55 >> No.
00:57 >> You had an opportunity to really sort of save process,
01:02 how cool it was to be able to go out there and set that bronze record.
01:07 You know that it's held up for so long and
01:10 be the number one receiver, so you didn't have to be around that at all yet.
01:16 >> Yeah, I mean, records are meant to be broken.
01:19 At the end of the day, it's just numbers.
01:22 I don't take it for granted, but I mean, it's the past.
01:24 I always tell myself, I wanna look back on my career in that
01:29 nostalgic type of way that I think you're alluding to after I'm done playing.
01:35 >> Cooper, has it been your experience when you've had a big game against a team
01:38 that the next time you see them, get even more attention than normally?
01:42 >> It depends, it's all situational.
01:45 I mean, Houston, they're not really a man team.
01:49 So I think the chances of them using a player to shadow me is
01:55 a little bit less than what it would be if they were a man team.
02:00 But you never know, for the playoffs, like I said before, teams game plan and
02:04 they're willing to do whatever they have to do to win.
02:06 So like I said, we'll just see, but from past experiences, yeah.
02:11 I mean, obviously, if you're dominating the team,
02:14 generally in those division games, that's when it happens.
02:17 If you're dominating your division, you see those teams a lot throughout
02:21 the course of the year, of course, they're gonna make changes.
02:23 >> When a team isn't, like you said, they don't play a ton of man,
02:28 is it tough for them then to get to the playoffs and switch that up?
02:33 You know what I mean?
02:34 You kinda just gotta be true to yourself as a defense,
02:36 as opposed to trying to change a bunch of stuff.
02:38 Same would be for the offense too.
02:40 >> Again, it depends on the situation.
02:45 If you look at a team like the Patriots, they're one of those teams that,
02:49 they kinda change their game plan week to week,
02:51 depending on what they're getting from the opposing offense.
02:55 But generally, teams are pretty much who they are,
03:02 in terms of what they do scheme wise.
03:05 But like I said before,
03:06 teams will kinda slightly change things up in a playoff.
03:09 So you never really know what to expect.
03:11 >> It seemed like it was almost like seven and seven.
03:13 [INAUDIBLE]
03:17 I feel like if a team can't rush a black hole,
03:21 no one's gonna be able to cover the win.
03:25 >> That's idealistic.
03:26 I mean, if he's not getting pressure, that means I have more time to get open.
03:30 So yeah, I do feel that way.
03:32 >> Amariah, how much do you think Jones' playoff experience is gonna help
03:37 this team, sadly and beyond?
03:41 >> I don't know.
03:45 I can't really answer that question.
03:47 I think he alluded to the fact earlier in the week that this was probably his
03:52 16th playoff game.
03:53 He wasn't quite sure, but around that number.
03:57 So I mean, experience is the best teacher.
03:59 So with that said, I think it's gonna help a lot.
04:02 But none really matters.
04:04 You have to live in the moment, have to be where your feet are, the past,
04:08 the future, it's all about the present.
04:10 So it's any given Sunday in this league.
04:13 So I can't really say, but obviously, hopefully.
04:15 >> What do you like about this team?
04:18 What's sort of special about the environment, the culture, the people?
04:23 >> I like the camaraderie.
04:25 I like that guys can generally usually get the best friendships
04:31 when it comes to the position groups.
04:35 So like receivers stick together, stick together corners,
04:39 stick together, so forth and so on.
04:41 But I think on the best teams, at least for
04:44 the teams that I've been a part of, everybody was able to come together and
04:49 become friends even after the season.
04:51 So I see a lot of that in this team.
04:53 Guys like to go out, guys like to play mad and stuff together after practice.
04:58 So I would say the camaraderie for sure.
05:00 >> Kevin Stefanski's pre-save 1-0 this week, that's where the focus and
05:05 the attention is, he's pre-said since the start of training camp.
05:09 Now that you're in the tournament in the one game season,
05:12 how much do you think that mentality and how it's permeated throughout the locker
05:17 room helps you guys as you're going into this weekend?
05:21 >> Yeah, I would say it's kind of ingrained in us,
05:24 like repetition is the mother of all learning.
05:26 We keep saying it, keep reiterating it, so it's kind of ingrained in us.
05:30 And like I said before, the stakes are even heightened now because if we don't go
05:35 1-0 this week and the season is over, it wasn't like that during the season.
05:38 So we definitely understand for sure.
05:41 >> Back to Mary Kay's question about culture, seeing you in different places
05:45 in the soccer room, connecting with different guys in different groups,
05:49 is this as connected as you felt with the team?
05:52 >> I've been on some good teams that guys were connected.
05:56 I can't say that this is definitely 100% the most connected, but
06:01 it's up there, you know what I mean?
06:02 Like I said before, you're on a good team, a winning team,
06:04 a team that's above 500, a playoff team.
06:07 It's gonna feel a similar way every time.
06:10 It's gonna just feel like guys are close,
06:12 guys are really working together towards a common goal.
06:15 So yeah, I would definitely say it's up there for sure.
06:19 >> Did you get up and say anything during that team meeting Monday when guys were
06:22 talking about their playoff experience?
06:24 >> I know the guys who got up, it was about a Super Bowl experience.
06:28 So unfortunately.
06:30 >> [LAUGH] >> Do you have a favorite playoff moment
06:35 from your time?
06:36 [INAUDIBLE] >> Favorite playoff moment that I've been
06:40 a part of?
06:44 I would say just winning, winning versus Seattle in 2019.
06:51 Yeah, the 2018, 2019 season.
06:54 I think I only won one playoff game, and I've been like three or
06:57 four times, but I only won one playoff game.
07:00 >> [INAUDIBLE] >> Mm-hm.
07:01 >> Amar, you've been in these games, like you just said.
07:04 What do you think is the biggest key in this game for you guys?
07:08 >> Preparation, 100%, the biggest key.
07:13 Like Coach Hill alluded to earlier in the week, more playoff games are lost than won.
07:19 And the reason that they're lost is because guys aren't as prepared as they
07:23 should be, the errors, the mistakes, they cost you.
07:26 So you gotta be prepared.
07:27 >> So speaking of that, you guys have turned the ball over more than any team in
07:32 the NFL.
07:32 They've turned the ball over the least.
07:34 It's the first time in NFL history that that's happened in a playoff game.
07:38 Is turnover part of that?
07:39 You guys have overcome that all year?
07:41 Or are you guys just a team that can overcome turnovers?
07:43 >> Yeah, I mean, that's the biggest thing in football, turnover differential.
07:46 The thing about it is that we have a clear goal, though.
07:51 We know that's that just like the back of my hand, we turned the ball over.
07:54 They haven't turned the ball over much.
07:57 So going into it, that's why we're preparing.
08:00 That's why we work on our drills and practice, because we need to fix that.
08:04 >> Good work.
08:05 >> Thank you, Amar.
