00:00 What was your first impression of the staff?
00:02 From when I came in the summer, meeting the staff and the coach, all fantastic people,
00:10 first of all, kind people, kind human beings, very nice to work with and they want to help me improve all the time and the squad as a whole.
00:18 So that was my first impressions of the staff.
00:22 I was really, really happy to be in a good environment where you feel happy and ready to work
00:29 and improve.
00:31 Who is the best player in Milan?
00:33 He's obviously a fantastic leader and an icon here at Milan.
00:39 He's been around the squad a few times now to come and watch us play and talk to us.
00:45 He's a very demanding figure and he wants to win.
00:49 Just like as he was on the pitch, now he's off the pitch in a different role,
00:55 but he wants the same and that's for us to win.
00:59 We want that as well and it's great to have him back in and around the team.
01:05 What is your biggest challenge?
01:06 It's down to us working on the training pitch and having that connection with each other,
01:12 knowing how individually we like to play and working off that.
01:17 Sometimes it takes time, but I felt from the start of the season we had a good connection straight away
01:24 in the midfield and we worked really well together.
01:28 That's whoever plays in midfield.
01:30 Sometimes you just click with people, sometimes it takes longer,
01:33 but for me I felt right from the start that we had a good relationship on and off the pitch.
01:38 What is your biggest challenge?
01:41 Sometimes as a player, when the big games come around and the pressure is on,
01:47 that's when for me personally I've noticed I like to thrive in those moments.
01:52 The games you want to play in as a footballer, the games that matter,
01:57 you want to make a difference in those games.
02:00 With the energy, with the crowd, with the pressure on the game, it just brings out the best in you.
02:08 Sometimes you have these games as a footballer, sometimes you're in that mind frame
02:13 where everything is just work, everything comes off and you feel good.
02:17 That was one of those games.
02:19 What is your biggest challenge?
02:21 He's a fantastic player and I think the fans see that now.
02:27 He's always been a top player.
02:31 Obviously it didn't work out for him too well at Chelsea, but coming here at Milan
02:35 you can obviously see he's got this new lease of life.
02:38 He's happy and he's playing his best football.
02:41 He's been a key figure for us this season with the goals and how he plays on the right side.
02:50 He's a fantastic player and we all know this and we hope he continues his form and his goal scoring.
02:58 What is the difference between the teams you've played in?
03:00 It's a very tough league, I've felt in the first six months here.
03:04 Very tough league and the teams, they're all very tactically good.
03:09 It's so hard to break teams down and it's like a chess game in the fact that
03:17 you have to work so much more as a team here in Italy, which has improved my game a lot and my learning.
03:26 I'm very happy here playing in Italy and I hope to improve more and learn more about the game in Italy.
03:36 The coach, the manager and the staff are helping me a lot, trying to help me improve as well as everyone else.
03:41 I'm looking forward to the next six months.
03:45 We started really well, we went through a bit of a dip, which is normal in football.
03:50 You have the highs and lows and I think in the last couple of games you start to play really good football.
03:58 For me, I had a bit of an injury problem that was a bit ongoing.
04:04 I was having to play through a bit of pain at times, which is normal again for a footballer.
04:11 Now I hope my condition keeps on improving.
04:16 As a team, we look a lot better in how we're playing and creating chances and finishing them off.
04:23 I hope we keep this form going as a team because we really have a top team.
04:30 We have to take it game by game and just focus on what's in front of us and see where that takes us.
