00:00 Come on in, sit down. Welcome to our party. How are you?
00:04 Great, I love joining the party.
00:06 Yeah, we're fine here.
00:07 Oh, great.
00:08 We're the most fun. Have you talked to anybody else yet?
00:11 I haven't spoken to anyone.
00:12 Well then actually, we are the best.
00:14 But also good luck with those guys.
00:16 Yeah, they're not.
00:17 Guys, this film has so much heart. I love a sporting movie. I love an Onsdog story. I loved it so much.
00:25 So much. However...
00:27 Uh oh.
00:28 What?
00:30 You really lured us in there. We were like, "Thank you so much."
00:34 I think you guys are so talented.
00:36 No, actually this is on me. When I got put in a rowboat, it was a live TV link and I couldn't do a thing.
00:44 I looked like an idiot.
00:46 It's hard.
00:47 Cameron, did you get any secret training in before going to do this?
00:50 We did two months.
00:51 Well no, secret training so when you turned up to training they thought you were good.
00:55 No, in fact, we were very concerned once he got in the boat.
00:59 Yeah, just even stepping into it, they were like, "I don't know if this is going to work."
01:02 We did two months and about a month in, George and Grant came down to check us out and we rowed awfully.
01:09 We were so embarrassed.
01:11 All the paddles were hitting at different times.
01:13 Nightmare and arms up here.
01:15 And George was like, "If I could see the panic."
01:18 I actually have a whole bunch of footage of it on my phone because I was filming you guys.
01:22 I can't wait.
01:23 And literally it's like, "Blah, blah, blah."
01:25 I couldn't believe it. I was like, "Oh my God, we're doing a movie with a bunch of idiots."
01:30 I like the idea. You guys in the car, like, "Oh my God."
01:34 And us in the boathouse, we were just silent.
01:37 I don't think this is going to work.
01:39 You pulled it off.
01:40 We did and you know what? These guys set us up to succeed.
01:43 They really did.
01:44 They had to put all the effort in and it was really fun.
01:47 Yes, it looked it.
01:48 Yeah, it was.
01:49 George, you gave me anxiety with the close-ups on the oarlocks because it reminded me of Cool Runnings.
01:56 And I was like, "Any second this is going to break."
02:00 I had anxiety every single-- Was that intentional?
02:04 No, I didn't try to do anything about Cool Runnings.
02:07 Right.
02:08 Having said that, I love that film.
02:10 I do.
02:11 No, I didn't do any of that.
02:13 We tried to-- You know, here was the interesting thing, which I think you'll understand because you saw the film.
02:18 It's not so easy to make rowing look exciting on film.
02:24 Right.
02:25 Because like F1, as fast as those cars are going, they don't look that fast unless you're right on top of them.
02:32 And so we needed hundreds of cuts and shots to build the excitement and to build it.
02:39 So we did a lot of those kind of shots just to have something to cut to.
02:43 It worked. It worked. I was anxious.
02:45 We were anxious the whole time through training because if you catch a crab, you screw it up for everyone.
02:50 So we had to really be in-- know what we were doing.
02:53 Do you know what catching a crab is?
02:54 No.
02:55 It's when you all get stuck in-- But you know it. I like that. Thank you.
02:58 Oh, yeah. I have to try and look like I know what I'm doing.
03:01 If you all get stuck in the water and you're not in time with everyone else, it wrecks the rhythm of the row.
03:06 Well, he actually did it once.
03:07 You can see in the movie-- It's funny. It's not acting, so it's a little hint.
03:11 There's a shot in this montage where they're rowing and he basically catches a crab and he misses.
03:17 And Jack comes back and he hits him in the back really hard.
03:21 And they start fighting.
03:23 And we just left-- I would say they said, "What are we doing?"
03:27 I said, "Keep rolling, man."
03:28 A hundred people on boats around us.
03:30 Yeah.
03:31 And me and Jack going at it.
03:32 Screaming.
03:33 And it was my fault.
03:34 It was absolutely his fault.
03:35 I was mortified.
03:36 You didn't come up with any cool runnings type mottos before you got going then?
03:40 Like, you know, "Feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme, get up."
03:42 No, we already had that, actually.
03:44 "Mind and boat" was one of them, along to "The River."
03:47 "The River?"
03:48 "The River."
03:49 "The Rhythm."
03:50 "The Rhythm of the Night."
03:51 "The Rhythm of the Night."
03:52 "The Rhythm of the Night."
03:53 Yeah.
03:54 Yeah, "Mind and boat" was one.
03:56 Okay.
03:57 And then we used "And We Got Fun" as part of it, too.
04:00 That's right, yeah.
04:01 I love that part.
04:02 Yeah, yeah, yeah.
04:03 I loved it from start to finish, guys.
04:06 So good luck with it.
04:07 Well, thank you so much.
04:08 It is genuinely great.
04:09 Thank you.
04:10 Well, thanks.
