Transcript
00:00 So Ariana Greenblatt, obviously you are one of the most iconic, you are part of one of the most iconic films of the year, Barbie.
00:06 How does it feel for a movie that like moved so many people to be recognized tonight?
00:10 Even that sentence is just wild. It means the world to me, the fact that I get to be a part of something that makes people feel so many emotions and moves people the way it did.
00:19 I didn't expect it and it's such a pleasant surprise, but I'm honored to be here. I'm excited to see the cast. I already saw one of them over there, so it feels great.
00:28 Who did you see? I saw Hari. What a cutie, I love her.
00:32 And then, I mean, you probably spent a ton of time with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. Is there a moment on set you remember and you'll look back on fondly as you move on through your life?
00:43 Yeah, for sure. I mean, there's a scene where Ryan's just having his meltdown and I just remember America Margot and I just like breaking characters so much.
00:51 And a lot of that, I'm nosy, I want to know who they're screaming for. A lot of that stayed in the movie.
00:58 Gerda was like, "Look, if you were actually in the situation, would you laugh?" And I was like, "Absolutely." So, yeah.
01:04 And lastly, obviously a big theme from Barbie is girlhood and reclaiming girlhood. What would you tell the younger version of Ariana if she could see you right here, right now?
01:14 Dude, I don't even know. This past year has been kind of the biggest dream of my life. This is my first award show, so, I mean, she is such a hard worker and I just want to give her a hug and say, "You got it. You're on the right path. You're doing it good."
01:31 Thank you. I love you. Have a great night.
