Avant la rencontre messieurs entre Holger Rune et Grigor Dimitrov, une magnifique affiche était programmée du côté des dames avec la n°2 mondiale Aryna Sabalenka qui affrontait la n°4 mondiale Elena Rybakina. Opposées à quatre reprises en 2023 et à sept reprises au total, la Biélorusse et la Kazakhe commencent à bien se connaître. Cette fois, c'est Rybakina qui a pris le dessus et de quelle manière. La 4e mondiale a écrasé sa rival 6-0, 6-3 pour glaner un 6e titre en carrière. Un sacré message pour lancer 2024.
