00:00 He had a protocol not yet, but he's trending the right way.
00:03 With Corey being questionable, like what would you do if he doesn't?
00:07 We've options.
00:09 Yeah, it's coming along.
00:11 He's coming along.
00:13 You know, he's not ready yet, but we're treating it and he's progressing.
00:17 You'll optimistic that he would be ready.
00:21 It's hard.
00:21 It's hard to say.
00:22 Yeah, we'll see how he does.
00:23 Yeah, for sure.
00:24 Yeah, he was sore.
00:28 So didn't practice.
00:30 One on the injury board yesterday, the calf injury.
00:33 Is that anything to be concerned about?
00:34 I'm sorry.
00:34 I didn't hear the first one.
00:35 One.
00:37 Yeah, you know, still dealing with that injury.
00:40 We'll see how it goes over the next few days.
00:43 But you know, that does not look good for this weekend.
00:46 Is that a re-aggravation of the same calf?
00:48 I don't know if I'd characterize it that other than to say it's a, you know, a calf injury.
00:52 Where do things stand with Oboe?
00:54 I'm sorry?
00:55 Where do things stand with Oboe?
00:56 He's trending the right direction.
00:58 You know, practice this week.
01:00 There's a good chance he makes it to the game.
01:02 Give him some playing time, but really need to see how he responds in the next 48 hours.
01:06 The chance he plays.
01:07 Yeah.
01:08 Progressing.
01:11 We'll begin to come back to the playoffs.
01:13 Yeah, it's so hard to say, Jake.
01:15 Honestly, like every single one of these injuries are different and we just got to treat them as such and make smart decisions based on where the guys are.
01:21 It looks like they're in great marching.
01:24 Some of their guys.
01:27 Do you feel good about the plan that you have?
01:29 Without a doubt.
01:31 Yeah, I mean, they have their plan.
01:33 Obviously, that's up to coach and what he does.
01:35 But for us, you know, we feel really strong about the guys that we're putting on the field and we're excited about the opportunity and it's football.
01:42 So you want to win?
01:43 I know you don't want to go to it, but you know, if Miles is going to play Sunday?
01:48 This Sunday?
01:49 Unlikely.
01:50 Yeah.
01:50 Yes.
01:51 Yes, he's going to play.
01:53 Yes, he's going to sit out.
01:55 Sit out.
01:55 Yeah.
01:56 That's I'm giving you one Scott.
01:57 Thank you.
01:59 David.
02:02 Yeah, excited for Dave, you know, we've talked a lot about Dave off the field and the person he's become really the teammate.
02:12 He's become I'm tired of talking about him, but the player, you know, just he's grown just talking about from pass blocking run blocking the route running.
02:22 Obviously, the yak has been off the charts this season and just has a really violent style to the point how he plays, especially with that when that ball is in his hands has effort plays on the field.
02:35 So I'm excited that the that he got recognized for that in this regard.
02:40 And Kevin year ago, you're getting ready to interview Jim.
02:42 And now you're finishing this scene.
02:44 So what would you say about how your relationship is evolved in this role?
02:49 Yeah, coach has done a great job.
02:52 You know, really from day one with him to now.
02:56 He's done everything that I've asked of him.
02:59 He's been a great confidant for me.
03:01 Somebody I can walk in and talk to and bounce a lot of things off of him just with his history.
03:05 You know, he's been a head coach.
03:07 He's been a coordinator.
03:08 He's won Super Bowl.
03:09 So he's just been invaluable to me.
03:11 And then obviously, you look at our defense of the way we've played.
03:14 That's that's a big part of Jim and this coaching staff.
03:17 I think those guys have done a great job, but Jim's right there leading the way.
03:21 And, you know, it's been so impressive, but I'm excited.
03:24 I just get to work with him every day.
03:25 Kevin, how do you think that you've grown as a head coach from your first season to now?
03:31 I don't know.
03:33 Yeah.
03:34 Better question for somebody else.
03:36 Hey, what have you seen out of Jeff Driscoll?
03:39 Yeah, he's done a nice job.
03:41 Very, very good understanding of the offense.
03:44 Seamless in that regard.
03:46 Does a good job calling the plays.
03:48 It's a good understanding of all the concepts that we're calling run game passing and that type of thing.
03:53 So been impressed.
03:54 You have to, I guess, because he's new, we have to change the game plan much.
03:58 What you've been doing.
04:00 Not really.
04:00 Yeah.
04:01 Is there a chance you change it drastically?
04:04 Just given that it's the last game, you know, no playoff reputation.
04:08 Of course, you're taking everything into account when you're putting a game plan together, when you're calling plays and that type of thing and trying to play to the strengths of your players.
04:16 So in that regard, it changes.
04:17 But in terms of the system, the scheme, things that we're doing doesn't change.
04:20 We notice different.
04:22 I mean, for some of the guys, maybe they're looking to get more play time this Sunday.
04:27 Have you noticed like a little bit more, you know, kind of stepping step this week?
04:32 Not necessarily.
04:33 I think you've noticed more reps for a lot of guys.
04:36 You're getting, you know, certain guys maybe go through a week and only gets so many reps on the on the when the offense is up on the defense of a lot of those reps are coming off the scout team.
04:46 So you see more reps for guys getting, you know, all those opportunities, which I think is good.
04:51 But in terms of the preparation, how guys are handling the week, it feels very, very normal.
04:56 That how does that help the development of the guy?
04:59 Like maybe a different moment or some of the younger guys when they get more reps and they have those moments.
05:03 Yeah, it's just it's just turns, you know, it's just opportunities.
05:06 It's reps.
05:06 It's however you want to phrase that word.
05:08 I think the more the better because so much of this game is making mistakes and it helps to have a lot of reps because then you can make a mistake.
05:16 You can correct it.
05:17 So I think for all those young guys, it's it's really, really helpful to just get more turns at it.
05:23 More at bats.
05:25 Is that this black hose boys stand out even for an older veteran quarterback?
05:30 Just coolness.
05:32 Yeah, I mean, he's just I don't know.
05:36 He's just himself.
05:37 I don't know that it stands out from anybody.
05:41 Jake, I would tell you.
05:42 I mean, Joe is pretty fiery on game day.
05:44 I mean, he's a he's excitable and he does a great job, you know, leading that offense when they're on the field does a great job on the sideline, but he's excitable.
05:54 He's on game day.
05:56 He's fun to be around.
05:57 Let me rephrase that like his his boys in Bamo.
06:01 We've already seen that, you know.
06:03 Yeah, it's good quarter.
06:30 Mm-hmm.
06:31 Support for coach here.
06:45 Have you had a chance to reflect on this season?
06:48 And what is it this season for you in particular?
06:51 Yeah, I mean, as you guys can imagine, I'm not one to talk about individual accolades and definitely not about myself.
06:58 I would just tell you, I've been so impressed by this coaching staff, offense, defense, special teams.
07:04 I think our coaches have done an outstanding job with their position with their units.
07:10 They've done a great job and I've challenged them to be problem solvers and they've done that.
07:14 So that's where I find, you know, I take great pride in that staff and what our staff has been able to do this season.
07:23 Here to talk to Jim and say that.
07:26 Yeah, I mean, that's part of the NFL.
07:31 You have success and and then you may lose coaches, but in a lot of ways, that's a great thing for that coach and for an organization.
07:38 You know, I really like a lot of our coach.
07:41 I like all of our coaches.
07:42 So they're doing a great job.
07:44 But when it comes to those opportunities, if that's something that comes about, I'll be excited for any of our coaches, including Jim.
07:52 Okay, thanks guys.
07:53 Yeah.
07:53 Yeah.
07:54 Yeah.
07:55 Yeah.
07:56 Yeah.
07:56 Yeah.
07:57 Yeah.
07:57 Yeah.
07:58 Yeah.
07:58 Yeah.
08:00 Yeah.
08:00 Yeah.
08:02 Yeah.
08:04 Yeah.
