Sheffield retro: photos capture 70s life in all its glory

00:00 The 1970s were the decade when disco stormed the charts and cinema goers flocked to blockbusters including Jaws and Star Wars.
00:09 This retro photo gallery captures the best of the 70s in Sheffield, including a visit by football superstar Pele,
00:16 water skiing in Mearsbrook Park and some of the city's much-missed shops including Cockhaines department store.
00:23 Also featured are several of the popular pubs and nightclubs of the era such as Josephine's on Barkerspool and Fiesta on Arundel Gate.
