00:00 if you picked up this figure then you chose wisely here's a look at the
00:04 Hasbro Indiana Jones adventure series build an artifact Indiana Jones the last
00:08 crusade grail night
00:12 Indiana Jones races against the forces of evil to find the Holy Grail and keep
00:27 it from falling into the wrong hands kids and collectors alike can imagine
00:31 the action and venture of Indiana Jones with figures from the Indiana Jones
00:34 adventure series with exquisite features and decoration this series unearths the
00:39 quality and realism that Indiana Jones devotees love suppose first what we'll
00:44 do before we look at the spiritual night has grabbed the tape measure and see how
00:47 tall he stands now originally he didn't actually have a name in Indiana Jones
00:50 last crusade only really named the grail night but actually in the first draft or
00:55 one of the revised first drafts of Indiana Jones he was actually called
00:58 Lord Dubovis signer of st. Gobain and Philemon Bray I guess maybe grail night
01:03 was a little bit shorter though the grail night in this case stands actually
01:06 about six inches in height the figure is gonna be about 15 centimeters tall to
01:12 have displayed along with Lord Dubovis let's actually bring in some of the
01:14 other figures that we've already had a look at in the order working backwards
01:17 the last figure we actually had a look at from the last crusade was of course
01:20 Henry Jones senior then just before that we actually had a look at Elsa Schneider
01:24 and of course just before that we also looked at Indiana Jones from also the
01:27 last crusade while he could have very easily just come in clue with a sword
01:31 and the correct cup of Christ what he does actually come in clue with quite a
01:34 lot more I'm gonna also bring in the table as of where we've left off things
01:39 now obviously with Henry Jones senior really filling out the table it gave us
01:43 also a chance to kind of add all these extra things that weren't there before
01:45 now in the initial review of the earlier review of Henry Jones I think he actually
01:49 came in clue with a little silver saucer on the slotted side there there was also
01:53 an absent space so come included with the grail night you get yourself also
01:56 the other silver tabletop now this actually piece just attaches by the clip
02:01 provided down below here I probably should have not done this you know what
02:04 I'm gonna do I'm just gonna take off all the other things because I know if I
02:07 tilt it the wrong way they're gonna all end up on the floor I'm gonna take the
02:10 other silver saucer and you'll see there's a slot on the side why am I
02:14 saying a lot of s things gonna slot that in place and now we've actually got
02:17 ourselves symmetrical sides to the table we're not just gonna stop with some
02:21 symmetry there he also comes include also with the flaming Bowl the flaming
02:25 Bowl if I just grabbed a other one came included also with Henry Jones and it
02:29 seems to be that they're I almost identical maybe they are identical the
02:33 flames are a little bit different from one to the other I mean easily Hasbro
02:36 could have just phone this in and called it just simply the same sculpt but seems
02:40 like the flames are a little bit different from one another and I'm
02:42 guessing they probably are gonna go and kind of like these little indentation
02:46 marks here on the sides we're still sticking with symmetry until of course
02:50 that we start adding all the other things now the grail night also comes
02:53 include various different goblets and grails if you obviously if you've seen
02:57 the movie some choices were made wrong this one is actually nicely done here in
03:02 gold plastic while another one here is done here in silver plastic this is a
03:05 little bit more simpler but not simple enough there's also this one here as
03:09 well that kind of looks like it should be holding a candle as there's a hole
03:13 there on the top but again if you were to choose any of these you'd be choosing
03:16 wrong I don't know the actual correct placement of these gonna have to go back
03:20 and watch the movie again but we're just gonna kind of put them in places of at
03:23 least that fill in some of those holes but once they over here for example the
03:28 correct one the right one would be this one the most crudest of goblets would be
03:32 in fact the cup of Christ now the inside of it actually has a little bit of
03:36 additional gold the outside is pretty rough and again like I'm kind of more of
03:40 a darker brown and we're gonna also put that on the tabletop as well now of
03:44 course we also have these other goblets the one that Elsa Snyder believe grad
03:48 was actually this one it is still unfortunately a little bit warped we can
03:51 also put that up on the table and we'll also add the other one there as well if
03:56 I can do my best to pick this up without knocking anything off in the process
03:59 this is now the completed table get a good gander of that all the goblets all
04:03 the various cups of what would be the cup of Christ again you'd have to make
04:06 sure you're choosing wisely a nice-looking decorative piece to be
04:10 putting on display although I won't be displaying it for the rest of this
04:12 review I'm just gonna move it off to the side feel free I would certainly
04:16 entertain the idea if you guys already haven't had the chance to check out my
04:18 other earlier reviews of where we've been building this this whole time feel
04:22 free to give that a gander now the things that are specific specifically
04:25 specifically to the grail night he comes in clue with his sword the sword is
04:30 fairly matte in the actual silver blade and yet the guard in the hilt is a very
04:34 nice metallic silver he has of course a place to store it in either one of his
04:38 hands but if you rather store it somewhere else he also comes in clue
04:41 with a scabbard or sheath and this actually has a little peg on the back
04:45 here if you then look at the figure just gonna move it out of the way here he's
04:48 actually got a hold right down here I thought initially it may have sat a
04:52 little too low and then I realized where the belt actually sits I guess it sits
04:56 fairly accurate it maybe sits a little too low but I don't know it seems like
05:00 it's a little too close to the lower ends of his legs now the figure also has
05:04 oh by the way I didn't mention it already that you can't cheat the sword
05:07 did I mention that I'll mention it here you can cheat the sword if you want to
05:11 store it out of the way and if you don't want to have it displayed necessarily
05:13 with the figure one big bulk of plastic you probably have been looking at this
05:16 whole time off to the side here the figure also comes in clue with a cape
05:19 the cape has for all intents and purposes just a molded white plastic
05:24 there are a few little decorative things that they've added here in red like the
05:27 symbol he has off to the side he has what I would imagine to be a hood okay
05:30 again the whole whole hood is actually just molded to the rest of the plastic
05:33 and then he's got a little bit of lacing here the strings on the front that tie
05:37 the of course cape together are nicely painted here as well in red and silver
05:41 now he has one peg right here unfortunately it always is the case when
05:44 it comes to using softer materials like this the peg is also a very soft
05:48 material so if you wanted to put it for example over top of the the actual
05:52 Knights I will be taking it off in a second because of course it just be a
05:54 little bit easier to move the figure around but sliding this right now over
05:58 his forehead the peg for all intents and purposes should plug into his back and
06:02 it does an okay job until you start to move the figure around and before you
06:06 know that pegs coming free I mean again it's not a case that they could use
06:10 harder plastic for the peg because of course you'd have to then use harder
06:12 plastic for the rest of the cape but man it just never stays properly in place I
06:16 mean if anything you kind of just have it resting against his shoulders I'm
06:19 just gonna leave it alone I'm not gonna try to move it around that much I do
06:22 like what I what I do actually like about the capes the way it drapes on the
06:25 floor so in a way it helps to kind of stabilize the night that can help
06:29 prevent the figure from falling over he still has pickles in the undersides of
06:32 his feet but I gotta say like the cape also helps to kind of just support him
06:35 as well and keep him upright let's go ahead and remove the cape for right now
06:39 let's also as well on sheath the sword and the sheath we're gonna also put that
06:44 to the side and giving a closer look now at the grail night it is a really nice
06:47 looking head sculpt once again I will say though I feel like the head sculpt
06:50 is maybe a bit too proportionally big when you compare it for the rest of the
06:53 figures body he has a normal sized body but then a very large head go back and
07:00 watch the movie again twist my rubber arm I'm sure he probably has a fairly
07:03 large head in the movie and you can also compensate and balance off some of the
07:06 in proportions by using also as well the cape the cape kind of will fill it out a
07:10 little bit again you just drape it over top of his head but it's a good overall
07:13 head sculpt a more aged night the actor by now has long since passed on I really
07:18 did like his performance in the movie for what little we actually saw of him
07:21 the beard has been painted really nicely here in white the smaller eyes very
07:25 small eyes were painted well there as well and you can also see as well they
07:28 painted in the eyebrows the chain mail that he has for his hood here isn't it
07:32 again nicely sculpted it didn't have to mean necessarily individual links but
07:35 like looking at closely how well they've sculpted it it does look like it would
07:39 be an actual a metal actual metal chain mail really nicely done similar symbol
07:45 there is also featured here in the front his tunic that he wears has a slit on
07:48 the side though that's gonna give him a little bit of additional posability when
07:51 we get to that point in the review and of course he has well has chain mail
07:54 gloves and chain mail sleeves I would imagine probably could be quite awkward
07:58 be walking around with chain mail I mean thank goodness we're back not back in
08:01 medieval days although I have seen some people wearing chain mail I don't know
08:05 if that would still be socially acceptable the figure has some decent
08:08 paint there applied for his belt he's got some additional rivets that have
08:11 been added there in silver as well he doesn't get anything unfortunately here
08:14 for the belt I don't know if that would be movie accurate whether that's
08:17 supposed to be left off like that or just has but didn't decide to actually
08:19 paint these parts but overall again it's a nice nice looking figure for the
08:24 figures articulation his head sculpts gonna be on a ball joint now normally
08:28 would be it would have been the case when we looked at these earlier Indiana
08:30 Jones figures that normally you'd have a head point a head articulation point
08:34 and then you also have a neck articulation point it seems to be the
08:38 case if you actually can look underneath the chain mail that he still seems to
08:42 retain a ball joint in the head which seems really strange because you can't
08:45 really move the head separately or if anything you can move the head separately
08:49 but Lynn why would the neck have some additional articulation the only thing I
08:53 can think of is it gives some additional articulation where you can actually move
08:56 the head up and down and of course back and forth as well the arms do come out
09:00 even though as large of the big and big big bulk that he has for the plastic
09:04 here still manages to pull off still 90 degrees on the arms you can of course
09:08 take those arms and also rotate them all the way around the figure has a single
09:11 hinge only on the elbow you can rotate the hand back or rotate the forearm back
09:15 and forth and you can rotate as well the hands all the way around and there's
09:18 also a little hinge there as well I can't forget the little hinge there on
09:21 the hands the figure also has an upper torso ball joint so it's nice to see
09:25 that they didn't simply just sculpt this is all one piece and then just basically
09:27 forfeit the articulation they still managed to put the pose ability in there
09:31 as well legs do split out thanks to of course the splits on the sides you can
09:35 bring in the legs forward only so far just because again like this could be in
09:38 the way of things he also has a swivel at the top of the thigh although it's you
09:41 know again a little harder to see there's the swivel cut right there about
09:44 three-quarters up the way there's also a hinge on the knee you can rotate the
09:47 lower leg and there's still the articulation back and forth and back and
09:51 forth this way on the ankle it's a nice-looking figure where I don't feel
09:54 like why did we just have to get the grail night just to fill in a slot I
09:58 don't feel that at all I still feel that way necessarily when it comes to the
10:01 dial of destiny releases they didn't have to be included at all but if you
10:05 are solely just collecting the last crusade again we're gonna be bringing
10:08 those last crusade figures back in here all of these all of these I feel are
10:12 ones that I'm not looking at them thinking oh it's just Hasbro's excuse to
10:16 once again throw in unnecessary figures no I feel like even like Elsa Snyder
10:20 she's crucial she's a she plays a significant role on the end just by
10:24 simply choosing the wrong grail and speaking of the wrong grail let's bring
10:27 back in the completed table yeah unfortunately though there are still two
10:31 slots that instead of using for dial of destiny characters they could have still
10:35 found a way to include more last crusade figures I think ultimately what's gonna
10:39 be happening is some of those figures that maybe didn't make the top cut or
10:43 the initial cut release when it comes to the last crusade artifact waves I feel
10:47 like I feel like ultimately those figures are gonna only get a single
10:51 release and if not careful collectors may just completely overlook the fact
10:55 they exist I feel if anything they should have belonged as part of this
10:58 wave because really out of six figures only four figures which still the
11:02 greater number but only four figures are actually from the last crusade well
11:06 seeing as the grail night did spend all of eternity to guard the cup of Christ
11:10 the least I could do is actually have the figure displayed in final looks
11:13 along with the tabletop and now the tabletop is finally completed very
11:16 observant viewers will probably notice on the back of the table I didn't
11:19 completely attach one of the legs I'm gonna be fixing that shortly after this
11:23 review I want to make sure at least the table is sturdy enough because when I
11:26 eventually do put this on the shelf I don't want it to be off-keltered at all
11:29 where any one of these goblets could end up on the floor my cat would end up
11:32 stealing it I would hope at the very least if my kid is gonna be stealing one
11:36 of the goblets if at least is gonna be choosing wisely wise also on Hasbro's
11:40 part to include the grail night though he is really only in the end of the
11:44 movie I think he is as justified to be included in this wave as at least the
11:49 rest of the last crusade figures that we've looked at Indiana Jones Henry
11:51 Jones senior and of course Elsa Snyder I still think there's still potential for
11:55 them to include other Indiana Jones last crusade figures but I don't know what
11:58 does this now mean that Hasbro is just gonna say okay well we've done Raiders
12:02 of the Lost Ark we've done Temple of Doom we've now done last crusade let's
12:05 now move over to Kingdom of the Crystal Skull I think there's still obviously
12:09 potential to fill in those gaps with characters that haven't yet been
12:12 released in plastic the worst thing they can really do like Molarom for example
12:16 is release them individually where collectors just may miss them completely
12:20 on their radar and don't even think he gets released they have to release a
12:23 lot of those figures I think as part of artifact ways to ensure that collectors
12:26 like myself know that they actually exist and I'm sure we're probably still
12:31 gonna be getting dial-a-destiny not not probably though marketed on their own as
12:34 part of an artifact way no no no no no no Hasbro simply just gonna shoehorn in
12:39 those dial-a-destiny figures wherever they find the opportunity to ensure that
12:43 collectors like myself are still gonna be picking them up in order to build
12:45 things like a table what are the characters would you like to see from
12:49 the Indiana Jones universe make their way to plastic form let me know down
12:53 below in the comment section also hey as well if you guys enjoyed this video one
12:56 hit with a like if you guys are loving all of these reviews of the artifact way
13:00 from last crusade even though there are again some dial-a-destiny characters in
13:03 there as well if you haven't already done so make sure you hit that subscribe
13:06 button down below as well and you're turning on the bell notification I hate
13:09 to say that we might be a little bit now finished when it comes to Indiana Jones
13:12 stuff until of course I end up picking up a few little fragmented figures that
13:16 I didn't pick up along the ways that weren't part of artifact waves I
13:19 probably will still be picking those up and if I do yes I will have reviews of
13:23 those guys coming up but there's always content coming your way so make sure
13:26 you're keeping your peepers peeled to this channel and as always guys thanks
13:29 for watching see you guys next time
