Celine Dion's sister shared that the singer has lost control of her muscles amid her battle with Stiff-Person Syndrome. In a recent interview Claudette Dion shared an update on the singer's health saying the 55-year-old "is working hard [to battle through her disorder], but she doesn’t have control of her muscles." She continued, "There's no doubt that in our dreams and in hers, the idea is to come back to the stage. In which state? I don’t know. The vocal cords are muscles, and the heart is also a muscle."

00:35 it doesn't affect that many people. In December of 2022, Celine revealed that she had been diagnosed
00:41 with a rare neurological disorder. "Recently, I have been diagnosed with a very rare neurological
00:46 disorder called stiff person syndrome, which affects something like one in a million people.
00:51 While we're still learning about this rare condition, we now know this is what's been
00:55 causing all of the spasms that I've been having." She also detailed that it has affected aspects of
01:00 her daily life, like walking and not allowing her to use her vocal cords to sing the way she's used
