00:00 Tyron, best effort overall would you say from defense today that far as good as any effort this season overall?
00:07 Yeah, I thought we played well. I thought we did a good job, you know, really in the run game.
00:12 And then, you know, obviously, you know, the rush and coverage, you know, working together, you know, all day.
00:19 So probably going to have a turnover or two there, but I thought overall we played pretty well.
00:24 Tyron, I know we can be guilty of overrating with two losses in a row means sometimes, with two wins in a row means sometimes.
00:31 But has some sort of momentum been built here or a quarterback turn, do you think, or anything like that in the last couple weeks?
00:37 Yeah, I mean, you know, we're still a confident, you know, team. You know, we're a confident group.
00:42 You know, we just control what you can control, you know.
00:45 So, you know, I think when you get to the back end of the season, you know, you want to be able to play well.
00:50 You want to be able to win games. And a lot of times it doesn't matter, you know, how you win it.
00:55 You're just trying to, you know, get in the win column.
00:57 So, you know, we got a quick turnaround. And so just looking forward to trying to keep stacking them.
01:03 Tyron, when your rush is active like it was today, like what does that do for you all in the back?
01:09 Well, you know, I think we've got a talented group, you know, overall.
01:12 And I think when those guys up front are able to really control the game, you know, I think we've got enough guys, you know,
01:18 in the back end, you know, in the linebacker room that, you know, can make life, you know, pretty hard for the offense.
01:24 So, like I said, I thought we did a good job on the first down, second down, third down was all right.
01:30 And, you know, I think if we can if we could play like that and tackle the way we tackled today, you know,
01:35 we'll be right on time for, you know, whatever it is that's in front of us.
01:40 Tyron, Barkley had 14 yards rushing in this game. How big was that for you guys to take him out of the game?
01:47 I don't think we took him out. I think Demario took him out.
01:50 You know what I mean? Because it seemed like he made every tackle.
01:53 You know what I mean? So he was fired up.
01:56 Must have had something to do with the gas tanks. You know what I mean?
02:00 I was going to ask about Demario. I mean, several players have stayed out all throughout over the defensive side.
02:04 Demario's first 11 snaps, you know, like a sack QBA.
02:07 Yeah.
02:08 How much of a charge does that give you to see, like, Demario in particular, go out there?
02:12 I mean, he's one of our best players. There's no doubt about it.
02:15 You know, he's one of our best leaders.
02:17 You know, I think when you have guys like that in front of you, it's easy for guys to follow.
02:21 So, you know, he comes out there turnt up like that and, you know, juiced up and, you know,
02:26 making the first three stops of the game, you know, you know he's going to let everybody know he made the play.
02:31 So, but no, we feed off that energy.
02:35 How did it help with, you know, it seemed like the tandem between you and Jordan Howden.
02:39 I know Jordan's got kind of the permanent, he's working season and everything,
02:42 but how do you feel that that tandem is working out for you guys?
02:45 Well, I think we work really well together.
02:48 You know, I think we both pretty much do the same things and, you know, we play off each other, you know, really well.
02:54 He's continuing to get better, you know, open field tackles, you know, being able to keep a lid on the defense,
03:00 you know, so communication is getting better from him.
03:03 So, you know, like I said a few weeks ago, you know, he's going to be a good player in this league, you know,
03:07 for a long time, but it's cool to have somebody like that next to you.
03:11 I think that very first play of the game, Devo broke up a pass, right?
03:16 So, I'm just curious how you've seen him, his game, kind of the tour for you two years?
03:21 Devo?
03:22 Yeah, Poulsen.
03:23 Devo is a good player, man.
03:25 You know, he's smart, he's physical, he's active, and, you know,
03:30 I think he's going to make a lot of plays in this league.
03:33 You know, obviously, you know, playing across from that, you know, obviously you get a lot of work.
03:38 But I think this season, man, you know, he's really put some really good games together.
03:42 And to be honest, man, like he's the guy that we're counting on to really kind of hold up outside.
03:48 So, he's been doing a great job of that.
03:51 Did you get a gas can?
03:53 I did.
03:54 I filled mine with water, though, you know.
03:57 What was your meaning by putting water in?
04:00 Me?
04:01 I mean, I run off anything.
04:03 You know what I'm saying?
04:04 So, all I need is somebody to push me, I'll go.
04:07 You talked about feeding off the energy from DeMario.
04:11 We saw a few weeks ago, like, the dome was kind of getting some negative energy.
04:15 What did it feel like today?
04:17 I mean, it felt good.
04:18 You know, I think, you know, it didn't start that way.
04:20 You know what I mean?
04:22 It felt like a dog fight, you know, early on.
04:25 But I think when you're playing team games, man, everybody just constantly just chipping in, right,
04:29 like trying to make it right.
04:32 And then after a while, man, you look up, you know, we're up by two touchdowns,
04:35 and, you know, everybody feels good again.
04:37 So, I mean, that's what we want it to feel like, and that's what it should feel like.
04:41 Ty, two weeks in a row you keep the opposing team out of the end zone.
04:47 What do you think the D-Mitzens have done these last two games?
04:49 Man, just really trying to defend every blade of grass.
04:53 I mean, it's hard in this league to stop teams from, you know, crossing the goal line.
04:58 But I think when you get an opportunity to, you know, you're getting them third down situations,
05:02 and, you know, those guys are trying to put the ball in, you just find a way to get off the field,
05:06 find a way to get a stop.
05:09 I mean, we don't do anything special.
05:11 We're just trying our best to, you know, keep them out of the end zone.
05:15 And when's the last time you were part of a team that had seven sacks?
05:18 Seven sacks?
05:21 Man, I'm old, dawg.
05:22 I don't know.
05:23 It's been a while.
05:26 Appreciate it.
05:27 Thank you.
05:28 Thank you.
