00:00 second game, obviously, I would say, yeah, there was improvement because we
00:03 want official.
00:04 Well,
00:08 to this fairs defense really aggressive.
00:13 In terms of trying to punish the ball, break the ball. What have you seen so
00:18 far?
00:18 Yeah, I mean, pretty much every defense you face is gonna have those
00:24 tendencies. I think the better defenses have it in a more exaggerated way. But,
00:30 you know, practicing in this league, that's what's being harped on
00:34 defensively, you know, trying to get the ball out because I mean, the team, the
00:37 team has the least amount of turnovers is a team that generally wins any game.
00:43 So, yeah, they're an aggressive defense, but I mean, that's what we prepare for.
00:46 Could be different than with a team that's been able to start many entry
00:50 budges. This one has to share.
00:52 Um, I think so. You know, it's just the way the cookie crumbles. Sometimes, you
00:58 know, guys, you know, you used to guys getting hurt, but no guys getting hurt
01:03 for the season. You know, sometimes it just happens that way. So, yeah,
01:06 would you ever have?
01:09 I'm sure it probably did. But he came back pretty quickly from that one.
01:13 Happy to
01:15 protocol.
01:19 I had to before the previous one. Yes, same process every time. You know, you
01:26 gotta go through the protocol, pass a couple tests.
01:28 You know, fortunately, I've never missed again for having a concussion.
01:35 Maybe people to Raven about the Ferris Court, which are
01:39 the corners. Yeah, yeah.
01:44 Yeah, yeah, Jonathan. Um, yeah, he looks good on film. You know, he's a very
01:50 instinctive, very smart player. Has to fall skills. Good at a baiting, baiting
01:55 quarterbacks. He's a patient player. He has a lot of good attributes, but I
02:02 don't expect anything less of an NFL player. So, yeah,
02:06 I would feel
02:08 why do you think?
02:11 Successful by right the middle of things. Despite
02:15 Yeah, I mean, winning in NFL is about much more than just simply having the
02:22 talent from your starting guys. You know, it could be about a lot of
02:27 different things at once. You know, momentum plays a huge part. Camaraderie
02:31 plays a huge part. Um, you know, drive motivation. It's a lot of different
02:38 factors. And I'll say, you know what I've seen from this team, the resilience
02:41 and all those other factors that I just mentioned. You know, we seem to have
02:44 you seem to check every box.
02:46 In terms of Jones,
02:49 you first
02:50 emotion.
02:53 Yeah,
02:55 I mean, that's pretty darn good.
02:59 Yeah, it is. It truly is.
03:05 You know, the X most receivers, you know, our hand and eye coordination is
03:09 we have some of some of the best hand out coordination, you know, in the
03:13 world. Um,
03:15 you're running around and catching the ball, you know, with our hand out
03:21 coordination being so good, you don't really want to think about catching the
03:25 ball. I know. I know that probably doesn't make a lot of sense, but we're
03:28 so used to so used to catching the football that we don't really think
03:33 about catching it like we located. We see where it's gonna go. We just snag
03:37 it and go. But sometimes, you know, with different quarterbacks, you know,
03:42 they they throw harder with less touch than a joke. So sometimes you have to
03:48 focus in more and actually think about catching the ball to and we don't
03:52 really like doing that. So every time you get a quarterback like Joe throws
03:55 it such a good balls where you don't have to think about catching it. Um,
04:00 we say he has touch and we like the way it goes. So, yeah,
04:04 more likely with better
04:10 Yeah, I mean, you know, I think with a veteran like Joe,
04:17 you know, the completion percentage,
04:21 it's something that they've been around for for so long that they just know the
04:28 small nuances, the small secrets. Okay, this guy's not really open on his
04:33 goalball, but I can throw him over. So I think that's his state of mind. He
04:38 does that. I'm surprised
04:40 about that.
04:43 I will see him.
04:47 That's a better question for him. I've been surprised myself. You know, he
04:53 seems to be very poised back there.
04:57 You know, he just seems to have a great understanding of what's expected of
05:01 the quarterback position. Um, and he just I don't know. I've been very
05:05 surprised by, you know, how fast he was able to pick a playbook,
05:08 and things like that. I mean, you know, it's been surprised. So
05:13 no, you know, everywhere I've been, you know, the coaching point is the same.
05:24 When it comes to the back shoulder, you don't really plan to throw that
05:27 back shoulder ball receiver. He just he has a goal ball. He's running full
05:31 speed trying to stack the cornerback. He's trying to win over the top. Um,
05:34 back shoulder is something that you always just adjust to. It's not
05:38 something that's planned.
05:39 Children
05:41 leadership.
05:46 You make everything together, especially
05:50 Uh, sure. I mean, most of the quarterbacks that I've played with,
05:55 they've all displayed a tremendous leadership ability. So, you know, Joe
06:00 has that as well. Just like you told you that. So, yeah,
06:03 that's
06:05 I don't
06:08 I know you want
06:10 I'll
06:12 I'll
06:14 so many
06:17 Yeah, I think it's, you know, you know, utterly important because, um,
06:25 you know, we're in December football. That's what we're hopping on right now.
06:27 It's kind of different once you get to this mode of football, you know, you
06:31 inching closer to playoff football, and it's just a different brand of football.
06:35 I would say it's much more serious team seem to, I don't know, be on beyond the
06:40 peas and cues, more scheming and everything like that. And I've been in,
06:44 uh, I've been in situations to where, you know, the ball wasn't really spread
06:48 around that much, you know, playoff games, December football and, you know,
06:52 if the defense knows where the ball is going, they can easily stop it. So, uh,
06:56 when in doubt, spread it out.
06:59 Happy for you for David Bell.
07:03 I was just as happy as he was. I mean, um, as you can see, he had a huge smile
07:10 on his face as he was, you know, entering into the end zone. I had to
07:13 say smile because, uh, you know, he's been working hard. You know, he's a
07:19 hard worker. He's very reliable teammate, and he deserved it for sure.
07:24 Right. Talk about how quickly Joe connected with you guys. I'm throwing
07:31 the ball. How about how quickly you can seem to slide right in being part of
07:36 the team rather than just an outsider coming in?
07:39 Uh, yeah, I think those two things actually pretty much go hand in hand. I
07:44 mean, you know, guys in this league, they respect guys who have been in the
07:48 league a long time because they know that it's something that's not easy to
07:51 do. It's not easy to sustain, you know, ability for a long period of time. Uh,
07:58 it's Super Bowl winner. Um, coming in here, you know, having the harm that he
08:02 has, uh, you know, such a great talent. Um, God expect that. So, you know, you
08:08 respect a player is easy to build camaraderie with.
08:11 It's a work. Thanks.
