Will Hardy No Answers after Mavs Blow Out Jazz

The Utah Jazz were blasted 147-97 by the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night.

00:26 But I think tonight, from the beginning of the game,

00:32 It's hard to place what the reason is.

00:39 But it seemed like the Mavericks were moving at a different pace than we were

00:45 I mean, I think defensively, it was poor the entire night.

00:49 When you play guys like Luka and Kyrie, you expect for

00:52 there to be six to seven shots made in the game that there's nothing to say about them,

00:57 other than they're both awesome players.

00:59 I thought early in the game, our offense was actually pretty good.

01:05 We did a great job keeping it simple, finding the corner.

01:09 And then as the game went on, and they continued to make shots,

01:15 it puts a lot of pressure on every offensive possession.

01:17 And that's when our turnover started to hurt us.

01:19 We had 29 points off our turnovers tonight, 19 turnovers in total.

01:27 31 points in transition, a lot of those are off turnovers.

01:30 And they're such a potent offense that if you make those mistakes,

01:36 when you have the ball, they're hard enough to stop.

01:40 And with the three ball these days, the game can get away from you quickly.

01:47 With the amount of threes that are shot, and when they're making them at that rate,

01:51 the game can get out of hand.

01:54 But I was most disappointed with our defensive intensity to start the game.
