00:08 Now the Ole Miss Rebels have earned a bid to the New Year's Six Bowl game and

00:11 are slated to face Penn State in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta

00:14 on December 30th.

00:16 For much of the last two weeks,

00:17 the Rebels have been projected outside the New Year's Six field,

00:20 typically paired with Iowa Hawkeyes in the Citrus Bowl.

00:23 This will be the second time Ole Miss is in New Year's Six Bowl while Lane Kiffin is

00:27 their coach.

00:28 The first was the Sugar Bowl in 2021, and

00:30 this will be the Rebels' third time at the Peach Bowl.

00:33 Now Ole Miss has an opportunity to make more school history if they beat

00:36 Penn State later this month.

00:38 The Rebels have already secured a second 10-win regular season in program history,

00:42 but they've never finished with 11 wins in a single season.

00:46 And they can do this by winning the bowl game.

00:48 The Peach Bowl is scheduled to take place on December 30th, and

00:51 kickoff is slated for 11 a.m. CT at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
