00:00 Paging Bull Chop House and Bar serves some of the best steaks in town and American publication Wine Spectator agrees.
00:06 They were recently given the 2023 Best of Award of Excellence by the magazine for the fourth time in a row.
00:12 No wonder, given their superb handle on cooking quality beef right, not to mention their lineup of wine, whiskey, and barrel-aged cocktails.
00:20 To celebrate the award, they held a dinner that began with a Maryland crab cake full of juicy crab meat and a small bite of steak tartare,
00:26 paired with a green-o sauvignon blanc from New Zealand.
00:30 The fresh wild-mixed mushroom cappuccino warmed our systems, along with a mason Joseph Joe and Lafayette Bourgogne Rouge with notes of red fruit.
00:37 The highlight of the course was the Cape Grim tenderloin cooked to a perfect medium rare through their Hosspur Grill, perfect with a powerful Acornero Campomoro Barbera.
00:46 Finally, dessert was a plated treat, dubbed with "cherry ripe" with fruity, coconut-y taste of a classic candy, plus a bright Moscato from the Shai Pig in Australia.
00:55 You can expect the dining spot to carry even more top-notch wine soon to go with their always satisfying steaks.
01:01 Date night idea, anyone?
