00:00 Good afternoon, I'm Group Manager Ian Armistead from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service
00:04 and I'm the Incident Commander at the ongoing incident here at Super Skips in Lancaster.
00:08 We were called this morning around 5am to report to the building on fire.
00:13 On arrival, the building behind me was fully involved in fire which has required us to send
00:18 10 fire engines and specialist vehicles to the scene to deal with the incident.
00:22 We'd asked that the local residents keep the windows and doors closed
00:27 whilst we deal with this incident and Europa Way is closed for members of the public to travel
00:32 through. We're likely to be on scene for a number of days working with our partners to resolve this
00:37 incident. We have a number of tactical plans that we're implementing to deal with it safely and
00:42 effectively and we're trying to reduce the impact to the communities as much as possible so we'd
00:46 appreciate as much patience as possible. Thank you.
