00:00 Diane had this very, very distinctive,
00:02 well, I say very distinctive, it wasn't,
00:03 it was actually very typical of her generation
00:05 of slony, privately educated girls,
00:07 but in terms of, in context of the rest of the royal family,
00:11 it was distinctive.
00:12 This very sort of minor key way of talking.
00:17 And so it's like she's constantly evoking sympathy.
00:20 And that is, you know, it sounds such a simple thing,
00:23 but it really makes a difference,
00:24 because the rest of the royal family
00:25 are just so much more clipped.
00:27 And it just instantly softens someone.
00:29 So it's, that's normally where I start as a way in.
00:34 And then of course there are,
00:36 I don't know if you're interested in this,
00:36 but there are vowel sounds that are very dynary,
00:41 go, and house.
00:44 Those sort of like,
00:46 slony vowels of that period that are very distinctive.
