Paul Heckingbottom discusses the impact of Sander Berge leaving Sheffield United in the summer and comparisons with Burnley boss Vincent Kompany
Transcript
00:00 Interesting to come up against Sander again, clearly you were somebody that you wanted
00:04 to keep at the club in the summer. How big a miss has he been this season?
00:10 It's irrelevant, it's a point of spending time on him, he's not our player so it doesn't
00:15 matter. Bigger things, more things for me to worry about. He's gone, good luck to him,
00:20 great kids, even better, good footballer, carried himself really, really well here despite
00:25 what was said about him, he's a fantastic pro.
00:29 In terms of Vincent Kompany, clearly they are bottom of the league at the minute, Burnley,
00:33 there seems to be a perception in the media that he's been treated a little differently
00:38 to yourself, maybe given a bit more leeway because of his time as a player and what he
00:43 achieved in the game. Do you feel you've been treated a bit more differently than Vincent?
00:47 No, we're at different clubs, different clubs, different resources, different jobs. Every
00:53 job you do, every time you're managing it's totally different. So no, I'm not rent, it's
00:58 too much for me to be worrying about here, to be worrying about how other managers are
01:02 getting treated.
