00:00 >> I'm glad we cleared up right away that you are playing siblings. I thought it was a little mad weird. Are they going to get romantic?
00:07 >> I have no fear forever, brother and sister. >> That would have been a twist. Not a holiday one. >> Not a good one. >> How was it reuniting and working together again?
00:17 >> It was really incredible. This is a few years in the making. A few years ago I did a movie for hallmark. Obviously Lacey has done 1,012 incredible films for hallmark.
00:37 Right afterwards people started chattering and saying wait a second we have to have these two in a film. We started talking about it a few years ago.
00:48 Never to be clear was there a thought of a romantic interest. It was always brother and sister. We developed it over time and finally got a great script.
00:57 I loved her forever from the minute she played my little sister. She's my forever little sister. Now she's an incredible professional and she led this production.
01:08 I changed myself to her and was led along by her kindness and professionalism. This was a dream. >> I love him so much. It was so surreal when we were finally standing there on set that first day.
01:19 We did it, we're here. Now today we're getting to talk about the movie and spend time with you. It's so special, the full circle of it all. There's nobody better than Scott.
01:29 >> That's cool. >> How often do you see each other in real life?
01:32 >> Not enough. >> We talk a lot and keep in touch. >> A lot of us have kept in touch. It really was the reason why I think that show, one of the reasons why it was so successful, part of you five, it felt like a family and we felt like family to each other.
01:46 It feels like I'm sitting here with my sister. You are a sister. It was really special to get a chance to tell a story in one of these beautiful hallmark movies that's a little different than what you normally see.
02:00 The center of the story is this brother and sister but then there's romantic, I have a wife, she has a romantic interest. There's plenty of romance in the movie.
02:09 Not until it got publicized did we realize how horrified people were.
02:16 >> Tell me you're not -- this is not a romantic thing. Please.
02:22 >> When you look back at the time when you worked together, we were talking a little off camera, it really does fly by and you wish you could bottle up that time and let it sink in.
02:37 >> I think it's a great way to kind of get back to the roots of the story.
02:42 >> What do you remember specifically as far as fun moments in shooting?
02:46 >> I remember you always being very protective over me, taking care of me. I was on the show from 11 to 17.
02:53 I went through every thing a girl goes through.
02:56 >> Those were the developmental years.
02:59 >> Yes.
03:01 >> I look at myself as an adult now and I realize so much of who I am is because of Scott and our wonderful cast and they were a huge influence on my life.
03:09 >> Those are the years I'm older.
03:11 >> That is so cute.
03:13 Scott, the last time you were on the show we were at universal studios in Orlando.
03:17 Your son took you on some rides, correct?
03:20 >> Yes, my oldest Jackson who is 14 is a huge roller coaster fan.
03:25 He was a huge fan of the show.
03:31 He was a huge fan of the show.
03:33 We stayed on a couple of extra days at universal and rode all the rides.
03:36 >> How did you do?
03:38 I can't go back to back anymore.
03:40 I think I hit that age.
03:42 >> Same.
03:44 I'm not a roller coaster person but I'm a good dad.
03:46 >> You do it.
03:48 >> You just do it.
03:50 He rode me to the brink.
03:52 We had three hours.
03:55 We had a fast pass.
03:57 We had three hours.
03:59 He's like we're riding everything four times.
04:01 He pushed me to the point where I was like Jackson, mercy.
04:03 Your dad is going to throw up on himself.
04:05 You don't want to see that.
04:07 You don't want to walk through this theme park with your dad having to throw up on himself.
04:11 I rode probably 16 roller coasters.
04:13 >> Oh, my gosh.
04:15 >> You're making me look like a bad parent.
04:17 I just say no.
04:19 >> You got three.
04:21 >> I'm not going to do that.
04:23 >> I'm going to do that.
04:25 >> I'm going to do that.
04:27 >> There's got to be a limit.
04:29 >> There's got to be.
04:31 I love the mean girls reunion with the commercial.
04:33 That was great.
04:35 You all look fantastic.
04:37 How was it?
04:39 >> Oh, my gosh, it was the best.
