00:00 Georgia State is at LSU, LSU is favored by 28.
00:03 Here's the question.
00:07 Usually when LSU plays a non-conference team, Florida State accepted,
00:11 they kind of show out a little bit, but can LSU get four stops in this game?
00:15 Or is it gonna be a ping pong match?
00:17 Is it gonna be a tennis match?
00:18 If they can get those stops, Georgia State's not going to stop LSU.
00:24 Jaden Daniels is gonna have his way with that team.
00:28 But I am curious to see if that defense, who usually does pretty well against
00:32 non-conference teams, not named something other than Florida State,
00:37 not named Florida State.
00:38 New Mexico State is at Auburn, Auburn's favored by 22 points.
00:43 I think New Mexico State is in line for, I think, a CUSA divisional championship.
00:48 Jerry Kill has done a fantastic job with the New Mexico State Aggies and
00:55 has them, honestly, as a decent little program.
00:58 They still have a long way to go.
01:00 They're from Las Cruces, whatever, they're down there by the border.
01:03 They're one of the poorest schools in Division I.
01:07 But they're gonna go over and get their paycheck at Auburn,
01:10 because there's a lot of stuff that happens to where you're trying to get
01:14 that payday.
01:14 So that's the reason New Mexico State is doing this.
01:17 They're getting paid by Auburn.
01:18 So they're gonna go over, so it's a win-win.
01:21 Auburn's a lot better right now than they were when Ole Miss played them.
01:25 So we'll see what's up.
01:26 And our final game of the day, USM is at Mississippi State.
01:32 Mississippi State is favored by 14.
01:33 The last three to four weeks, USM has looked, let's say, competent.
01:41 They changed offensive coordinators, they can score some points.
01:47 They scored 38 or something like that against ULL.
01:50 They scored nearly 40 against Appalachian State.
01:53 If they can score, okay, if they can score,
01:58 they are going to give Mississippi State problems.
02:00 They just are.
02:03 This is a Mississippi State team that ran the opening kickoff back for
02:06 a touchdown against Texas A&M and scored three points for the rest of the game.
02:11 The final score in that game was 51 to 10, but Mississippi State was ahead seven
02:16 nothing after returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown.
02:19 This is a situation five days before the Egg Bowl,
02:24 which the Egg Bowl is undoubtedly the most important game on their schedule.
02:28 Each and every year, they care about the Egg Bowl.
02:31 They want to care about the Egg Bowl.
02:34 They put this game that is going to mean just about as much to USM
02:39 as Mississippi State cares about the Egg Bowl.
02:42 So you're going to be dealing with a war five days before you play Ole Miss.
02:47 And Ole Miss potentially going for their tenth win of the season in Starkville
02:53 with a coach that may or may not be a lame duck.
02:56 If USM really stands out and does that, Zac Arnett may be a lame duck in that game.
03:02 There's rumblings all over the place that Mississippi State may move on from
03:07 Zac Arnett.
03:08 But that's not going to change the other factors other than who is taking the Ls.
03:17 I kind of like USM in this game, at least to cover the line.
03:21 I think it's going to be an uncomfortable game for Mississippi State.
03:25 I think you're going to be able to see Mississippi State probably pull away late.
03:32 But if it's close in the fourth quarter, look out.
03:36 Because if USM thinks they can win, this would be like Ole Miss
03:41 scheduling Memphis five days before the Egg Bowl.
03:47 It's problematic.
03:48 Whoever scheduled this game should be fired with cause.
