00:00 >> Well, it's the first time for me ever really working out the west to east.
00:09 I would say this historically speaking, when I coached on the eastern time zone
00:14 or central time zone, there were like three teams maybe.
00:20 Seattle, San Francisco, Chargers, we go Friday night, but
00:25 you really gain sleep when you made that trip.
00:29 The challenge when you went west was always the next week you got home.
00:33 So I think when we looked at this itinerary at the start of the season,
00:39 we felt get out there, get rest, tomorrow morning meetings,
00:44 just like we would here Saturday, we'll get a half hour walk through.
00:48 And then anytime you play Monday night, Sunday night's different cuz
00:54 there's a bunch of games on.
00:56 Monday night, your television options while you're at the hotel as a player
01:01 are limited.
01:02 So again, the focus the following week,
01:08 our decision to stay return in the morning, that kind of thing.
01:12 That's changed over the years, but that was all kind of mapped out.
01:16 >> What do you do on Monday with that much time?
01:19 >> Well, we have meetings, there's pregame meals, some of them take naps.
01:23 And then buses really begin to head over at 4 o'clock.
01:28 And so when you look at the morning schedule, it works out.
01:34 What would you do?
