00:00 Welcome to 4 Wiener TV, I'm Bob Bauer. Today's show is all about the project vehicle, specifically
00:07 a rig we call Becker's Build. It's a Jeep project built from the ground up, and as I
00:15 recall...
00:18 This project began at JC Fab and Design in Sylmar, California. Tony Becker decided to
00:23 bring his '84 CJ7 to a whole new level, and it evolved into a one-of-a-kind Jeep. With
00:29 the help of Steve Kramer of Full Traction, curry axles were hung off it with a one-off
00:33 long arm suspension. That allowed Tony to roll it into the off-road expo and look for
00:38 some more help. Now hooking up with longtime friend Mike Duncan, known as the 4x Doctor,
00:44 it looks as if these guys have made plans to try and finish this project before the
00:47 40th anniversary of the Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah. And that was right around the corner.
00:53 And all I can say is, good luck.

02:03 Mike's a seasoned off-roader, a gutsy fabricator, and probably one of the few guys who really
02:11 understands what a build like this needs. When you get two middle-aged guys who've
02:16 been wheeling since the 1970s, you can be sure they have a pretty good idea of what
02:20 will and won't work. Looks like those guys did strike a deal, and they've already gotten
02:24 started on the CJ. And you bet they've searched out nothing but the best parts for this build.
02:34 Even with the best parts, time is still not on their side, and there's a whole lot of
02:39 pride riding on this project. But they won't be doing it alone. They'll be asking Dennis
02:46 Hogue, wiring master, Howard Hall, keeper of the flame, Mitchell McDonald, and Jim Jensen
02:51 to work some long nights and beat the clock. Hopefully, they'll get it done in time before
02:56 the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Utah.
03:02 War Wheeler TV will be right back with that and much more.
