00:04 >> I wanna say change the dynamic, definitely added another league caliber
00:08 guys to go against in practice, along with Denzel and
00:11 even Jermaine coming in as a freshman.
00:14 I mean, this offseason really got some new talent at the corner and
00:18 they're doing a phenomenal job and that's why we have such strong defense now.
00:22 Denzel missed the game, Jermaine stepped in, played huge for us against Penn State
00:26 and Davidson's done a great job all year as well.
00:28 So it's definitely brought a special ability to the defense.
00:33 >> You talked about being excited and having practice against you specifically,
00:37 his size, his physicality, what did that do for you in your school campus?
00:40 >> Yeah, it's great.
00:41 He's probably one of the obviously the bigger corners that we have and
00:44 we really haven't had that since by my freshman year.
00:47 So it's great to go against someone with different length that I'm not really used
00:51 to until I go to game day.
00:52 So it's just practice against him has been great, he's a dog,
00:55 I mean, he loves to compete.
00:57 I'm super excited to go against a state competitor, so
01:00 definitely excited for those matchups.
01:03 >> Can you tell where, when you get to the line of scrimmage,
01:06 where that helmet's coming from against you?
01:09 You understand what I'm saying?
01:11 In a coverage scheme and stuff like that, do you look for telltale signs?
01:15 How do you kinda like try to size things up before the snap?
01:19 >> Obviously, you start with your safety.
01:21 If he's pushed you a little bit, obviously, okay,
01:23 he falls and probably gonna be limited here.
01:25 With the safety help at the top and then the corners outside leverage,
01:29 I mean, probably has help inside.
01:31 So just everything like that, and
01:32 see what you kinda think about before pre-snap and you just kinda go from there.
01:38 >> How many times this year though have you felt like,
01:40 even when they're getting help, a couple teams, whatever you wanna call it,
01:44 that you've been covering them all?
01:47 You understand what I'm asking?
01:48 >> Yeah, yeah.
01:48 >> You still feel like you're getting open?
01:50 Go ahead.
01:51 >> I think you always think you're open.
01:53 I think I have the confidence myself to make any play,
01:55 whether it's three people on me.
01:58 But obviously, there's other guys across the field.
02:01 And anytime I can maybe bring two with me, with a double team,
02:05 I know someone like the Necas game, one on one coverage, the Lincoln one on one
02:08 coverage, and we all have full confidence in them that they're gonna win those one
02:11 on one matchups.
02:11 >> [INAUDIBLE]
02:21 >> I mean, I think it's credit to the talent
02:25 they have in the back end.
02:28 They challenge a lot of those contenders, they keep those deep balls, and
02:32 they do a great job with that, and they're obviously very well coached.
02:36 So, I don't think any challenge for us, getting the explosive play, but
02:38 we can't force anything.
02:40 If they're giving us the underneath stuff, we'll take it,
02:41 we'll drive down the field, and the rankings will help us with that as well.
02:44 >> [INAUDIBLE]
02:48 >> Yeah, I mean, they still have somewhat similar personnel, but
02:52 they're definitely very talented.
02:55 >> Marvin, maybe you already asked this earlier, but Ryan was asked,
02:59 if there is a limit to the amount of times a receiver can be targeted during
03:04 a game, and he said if you ask the receiver,
03:07 they'll probably tell you that there is no limit, how do you feel?
03:11 >> There's definitely no limit.
03:12 I think any receiver wants to block replay,
03:15 a running back probably wants to block replay, so quarterback,
03:19 probably wants to block replay, title wants to block, everybody wants to block.
03:22 That's just the human nature of being a competitor.
03:25 You work very hard, and we're gonna showcase that on Saturday.
03:28 So, I mean, I think depending on position,
03:30 there's never a limit of how many touches that you want in the game.
03:33 >> All the way up through the ranks,
03:34 what's the most passes you ever caught in a game?
03:37 >> We had 11 a couple weeks ago.
03:41 >> Yeah, 11.
03:41 >> I mean, I'm talking about Pee-wee.
03:43 >> I don't know, Pee-wee, you're playing running back for the most part.
03:47 I think now it's totally different.
03:48 My little brother's playing Pee-wee, and they're just throwing the ball 30,
03:50 40 times a game, it's crazy.
03:52 >> You guys didn't get mad.
03:53 >> Yeah, we didn't do that at all.
03:55 So it's crazy how the game has evolved.
03:57 But I think we probably had 12 or something in high school.
04:01 Yeah, I don't know the exact number.
04:04 >> Did you feel worn out at the end of that game?
04:06 Did you feel like you could hit 12?
04:08 >> No, I mean, I think even going back to Penn State game,
04:10 you don't realize you have 11 until the end of the game.
04:12 It's like, okay, I had 11 catches.
04:13 You're not even tracked in the game, how many catches you have.
04:17 So you'd be surprised at the end.
04:19 >> Your brother didn't fall much to you, but he's pretty good?
04:23 >> Yeah, he's great.
04:24 He's great.
04:25 He's definitely more talented than I ever was at that age.
04:28 And he started early with the routes and everything from my dad.
04:32 So I'm too excited to see how he comes along.
04:35 And it's gonna be very scary to see how he progresses.
04:40 >> How old is he?
04:41 >> 14.
04:43 Yeah, going in eighth grade, Jet Harrison.
04:45 >> Do you wanna recruit him to Ohio State?
04:47 >> Yeah, of course.
04:48 I think that's his dream.
04:50 He sees me here, I think that's natural.
04:51 He wants to follow in my footsteps.
04:53 >> All right, thank you.
