James Hyde (Jeremy) is Back! Who's He Playing Now

00:00 As our favorite time of the season is just around the corner, it's bringing back a lot of faces that we've missed.

00:05 And this time it's James Hyde, coming back to the screens but with a new character.

00:09 If you're curious as we are, then stick around to see who he's playing this time.

00:16 It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and you know what that means. It's time for Christmas movies.

00:22 Hulu is stepping up its holiday game this year with a film called A Christmas Frequency,

00:26 and it's got some pretty cool connections to the world of daytime TV.

00:30 So, what about A Christmas Frequency? Well, it stars James Hyde, who you might remember as

00:35 Jeremy from The Young and the Restless, and Denise Richards, who rocked it as Shauna in The Bold and

00:39 The Beautiful. And guess who's steering the ship as the director? It's none other than Lindsay Hartley,

00:44 our girl who played Ariana in Days of Our Lives. Talk about a soap opera reunion on the big screen.

00:50 Plus, since the fans of The Young and the Restless have been missing our silver fox Hyde so much ever

00:54 since he was murdered by Phyllis on screen, it's about to be a Christmas miracle and they are in

00:58 for a treat with his new movie. So, in Christmas Frequency, Denise Richards plays Brooke, the host

01:03 of a not-so-popular morning radio show but she is secretly separated from her husband, Todd, who's

01:08 played by our handsome James Hyde. So, what's a gal to do when her show is struggling? Well, the

01:13 producer, Kenzie, played by Ansley Gordon, who also wrote the movie, comes up with a wild idea.

01:19 She sets Brooke up on live, on-air blind dates to find a date for the company's Christmas bash.

01:23 But of course, things get all tangled up when Kenzie ends up falling for one of Brooke's

01:27 potential dates and Todd decides he wants to win back his estranged wife. Before it was known as

01:32 A Christmas Frequency, this movie was titled Christmas on Air. They filmed this jolly rom-com

01:37 back in mid-May and it was a mini-reunion of sorts for James Hyde and Lindsay Hartley. If you didn't

01:41 know, they both starred in the soap opera Passions a while back. Hartley played Teresa and Hyde was

01:47 Sam. Lindsay was all hyped about the movie and shared a snap of her, Hyde, and Richards on set.

01:52 She wrote, "Merry Christmas with these two wonderful and talented people. Thank you for

01:56 bringing the magic to Christmas on Air." On October 11th, James Hyde dropped the film's

02:01 poster and he was super stoked about the whole experience. He had a blast shooting this flick

02:05 and gave shout-outs to producer Richard Switzer and Lindsay Hartley for doing an awesome job

02:09 directing too. So, A Christmas Frequency will be available for streaming on Hulu, Apple, Vudu,

02:15 Amazon, and Google Play. So, you've got plenty of options to catch this heartwarming Christmas tale.
