00:00 Okay, we all set cameras, everybody good?
00:03 Okay, on everybody's left, we have Amari Harvey.
00:05 On everybody's right, we have Haynes King.
00:07 We'll open it right up for questions for Amari and Haynes.
00:09 Go ahead, go.
00:09 >> Can you tell me what happened on the head on Taz?
00:13 >> It wasn't like a little zone.
00:17 I seen Drake make a scramble up.
00:23 He's a very talented quarterback.
00:24 He can throw it to any spot on the field he wants to.
00:27 I seen him open up in the zone, so I followed nine.
00:30 Put on my 180 pounds and so.
00:33 >> [LAUGH]
00:37 >> Okay.
00:38 >> Haynes, you had a great day today.
00:41 Sacked zero times as well.
00:44 Super efficient day, four touchdowns.
00:45 You had one interception, but
00:47 how do you grade your performance about this game?
00:49 >> I'd probably say B plus.
00:55 I mean, I had seven incompletions, one pick.
00:59 So obviously I can get better, but at the end of the day,
01:05 yeah, you're not gonna play a perfect game.
01:08 But I feel like that's what make the great ones great.
01:11 There's always room for improvement.
01:13 There's always areas to look to improve and
01:16 to get better at each and every week.
01:18 >> Right.
01:22 You haven't worked very much with Dante this year.
01:25 You do practice, but in real game action.
01:29 How did you feel that Dimesh working?
01:32 You made a lot of big plays off that.
01:35 >> Yeah, I mean, he works his butt off each and every week.
01:38 I hadn't heard him complain about anything.
01:42 He just head down, keep working.
01:45 I mean, that's what hard work does.
01:48 It was his time to shine.
01:49 It was his opportunity, and he used that opportunity and maximized it.
01:55 He played a hell of a game today.
01:56 >> Chuck.
01:59 >> First of all, the touchdown pass to Brett, and
02:02 the walks through that, just the night that Brett had it.
02:05 >> Yeah, Brett.
02:06 I mean, wonderful tight end, same way, works hard.
02:10 That play, we had a little corner flat.
02:15 It was just across the board read, everybody coming in the vision.
02:19 They had it outflanked over there, kinda get out of pocket, scramble.
02:24 Either looking to run or throw it away.
02:26 Try to do a little hezzy or whatever, and out of the corner of my eye,
02:31 I see Brett have a little separation, popped it on, touchdown.
02:34 >> Okay.
02:37 >> So this is the first real home game of the night in the Bobby Dott Stadium.
02:43 What sort of impact did the fans have on this?
02:45 What was the atmosphere like?
02:47 What sort of impact did these fans have, just sort of walking us through that?
02:49 >> We love all the fans that came up.
02:54 They really had a good impact on the game.
02:56 I'm glad we made an emphasis on our fans coming up,
02:59 getting the feed off that energy that we need them.
03:02 And yeah, they made everybody play harder.
03:05 And it just felt like it was just one big family, us, fans, and the team.
03:13 >> Hey, it seemed like the screen game really got you going.
03:17 And when you see those plays work, does it just loosen everything up and
03:21 kinda get you into that rhythm throwing the football?
03:23 >> I mean, that and it's also like having good first down plays.
03:28 Positive plays right there, keeping ahead of the chain so
03:30 we can continue to go tempo.
03:32 And what it does, throwing the screens out there,
03:36 it makes the defense run sideline to sideline.
03:38 Where's Emile?
03:39 So now you get the running game going.
03:41 Now, when you do pass the ball, they don't have as much of a pass rush.
03:45 It all works together like a string.
03:48 At the end of the day, if you have great first down plays, everything else,
03:53 you have a good chance to work.
03:56 >> [INAUDIBLE]
03:57 >> Shh, shh, shh.
03:59 >> [LAUGH]
04:01 >> Don't wanna interrupt these guys.
04:03 >> [LAUGH]
04:08 >> Rob.
04:11 >> You had a drive going to the south end of the field, and
04:16 it was third and short.
04:19 When you lined up for that play,
04:20 did you feel like you could get right behind the secondary on that play?
04:25 >> Yeah, and that was our kinda game plan going in.
04:30 Kinda first, third, fourth and short area.
04:36 We're in a plush territory.
04:38 We thought that we had a good game plan on that, and
04:42 we're gonna use that, the first chance that we got, and it ended up working.
04:48 >> Anything else?
04:49 >> Okay.
04:52 >> Mario, I imagine it's tough when you're playing a guy like Drick May and
04:57 with all those different weapons he had.
04:59 How satisfying was it for
05:00 you guys to make the key plays in the back end of the game to give
05:04 the offense a chance to win?
05:06 >> It was very satisfying.
05:08 We came together as a defense.
05:10 I feel like we got closer this week.
05:13 Seeing everything pay off just, I don't know, it made me happy.
05:18 Like, I don't wanna say this.
05:24 It make us feel like we working for something.
05:28 I was working out from there.
05:30 We came together, we watched film together.
05:32 We bonded closer from the DBs to the D line, from the linebackers.
05:36 It wasn't just the second there, the lower force and pressure.
05:40 We started to stop the rink game, which allows us on the back end to play
05:45 together, to play strong.
05:46 We've been watching film when you guys are, it's a very talented group.
05:50 One of the best quarterbacks in the country, and I'm just glad we got the job done.
05:53 >> Okay, we're gonna let these guys take off.
