00:00 All right.
00:02 Now, we need to talk about Jackson Dart because I am turning into a major
00:06 Jackson Dart stand.
00:08 I've always been a fan of Jackson Dart, just a good kid.
00:10 And you can see the flashes of everything that's going on.
00:13 But now you're really starting to see the flashes.
00:16 You're seeing the jump being made to the next level.
00:21 And whenever he makes the jump to the next level, he's Eli Manning.
00:25 He's in that that realm of quarterback.
00:30 Because all that he lacks is quick processing ability
00:34 and the ability to see things and attack them instantly when you have to.
00:38 Right now, whenever you call a play and it doesn't necessarily work out,
00:42 he still wants to hit that deep shot.
00:44 He's got a little bit of a gunslinger Brett Favre mentality,
00:48 even though he's better with the football than Brett. But.
00:51 If he could just hit some pop passes, some wind routes and some slot slants,
00:57 things like that, they're using the mesh concept more.
01:00 If they do that, you can see Jackson Dart.
01:03 He's going to really take off.
01:04 And we saw that a little bit against LSU because the game plan
01:07 kind of forced him to do it.
01:09 Now, if you look at Jackson Dart this year.
01:11 These are his zones, he's two of seven for 71 yards and a touchdown out left.
01:17 He is three for eleven, one hundred and thirty one yards, a touchdown
01:21 and two picks in the center.
01:22 He is six of eleven, one hundred and seventy eight yards out right
01:26 with an NFL quarterback rating at about one hundred
01:30 for both of the outside zones.
01:32 If you look at the middle zones, this is the one that we harped on all offseason.
01:38 This is another reason that I talk about how this kid,
01:41 anytime we have a question about his ability, he answers them
01:45 and he does what he needs to do.
01:48 And if you look out left, he's five of nine, ninety one,
01:50 ninety one NFL quarterback rating, ninety three yards in that middle
01:55 tic-tac-toe zone between the numbers.
01:57 He's currently twenty four, thirty one, five, thirty nine,
02:00 seven touchdowns and interception and NFL quarterback rating of one forty four point
02:05 eight. That's nearly a perfect NFL quarterback rating in the zone
02:08 that we harped on offseason.
02:11 You heard Jake Crane talking about how Jackson Dart doesn't see linebackers
02:15 and there's a problem with the middle of the field.
02:16 And I think he's just more of an explosive play hunter
02:19 than there's anything that he can't do, because if you look at these middle
02:23 of the field numbers with the comfortableness
02:26 that he's gotten with Jordan Watkins and Dayton Wade.
02:29 And Caden Priestcorn coming onto the scene,
02:32 he's got seven touchdowns and a pick in that zone.
02:35 He's done everything that needs to be done.
02:37 If you look out right, he's nine to seventeen, one hundred ninety four yards,
02:40 ninety three NFL passer rating.
02:42 Also outside right is going to be the Trey Harris land.
02:46 Outside and left is going to be what they're doing using
02:51 Dayton Wade and Zachary Franklin and Aiden Williams.
02:54 Those people are playing that area.
02:56 So as the Corey Franklin emerges outside, left is going to go up as well.
03:01 If you look at him near the line of scrimmage, he's eight or twelve,
03:04 seventy eight yards, twenty one or thirty one to fifty one and a touchdown.
03:09 Fifteen and nineteen, one hundred and fifty four yards.
03:11 If you look behind the line of scrimmage, the ball has not hit the ground.
03:14 Three or three, two yards to the left.
03:17 Eighteen of eighteen, one thirty five to the center
03:20 and three or three for ten yards to the right.
03:22 I do think Ole Miss needs to incorporate some bubbles in their game.
03:26 I'm not saying go all you freeze, but I do think that that needs to be happen.
03:30 There needs to be a situation where the defense at least has to worry
03:34 about Jackson Darke catching and throwing, whether it's a hitch, a bubble,
03:38 a tunnel, one of those plays just to change the tempo
03:42 to make the defensive pass rushers have to worry about it as well.
03:47 Now, if you look at last season's numbers, six of fifteen outside deep left,
03:52 one hundred eighty five yards and two touchdowns between the numbers,
03:55 ten of thirty three, two touchdowns, three picks, four hundred and forty six yards
03:59 outside right, eight of eighteen, two hundred and twenty eight yards.
04:03 Two touchdowns, no interceptions, seven or twelve middle left,
04:09 twenty seven and fifty six, less than 50 percent in that middle of the field zone
04:13 a 60 NFL passer rating, 14 or 26 outright.
04:17 And then there's the ball hitting the ground on the short stuff.
04:21 You can actually see in these zones where the improvement has been made
04:26 and where the improvement needs to be made.
04:28 Jackson Dart, I will say this right now, and people are going to roll their eyes
04:33 at me, Jackson Dart, if he comes back to Ole Miss, has a chance to leave
04:37 as the greatest of all time at Ole Miss, and that includes Eli Manning.
04:41 That includes Archie Manning. That includes Matt Corral.
04:44 That includes Chad Kelly.
04:45 That includes Bo Wallace.
04:47 That includes Romero Miller.
04:48 The whole pantheon.
04:51 Has a chance to go down if Jackson Dart stays in school
04:54 and the fact that people underestimate what this kid is doing.
04:59 Is almost criminal at this point, when you look at draft lists.
05:04 The fact that he's not showing up on a top 20
05:09 is probably a good sign for Ole Miss, because if you get the NIL money
05:13 and you come back to school and get a little bit better
05:15 and get ready to be the top quarterback in the NCAA next year,
05:19 because that's potentially if he has any kind of jump next year,
05:23 like he had this year, and there's no reason to think like that wouldn't happen.
