00:00 Over to the right, Jeremy Birmingham, rivals the podcast.
00:03 Kyle, how close do you think the offense is to being where you want it to be?
00:07 Both yourself personally, but then just little ticks that seem to be off.
00:12 I mean, how close do you think it is?
00:13 I think it's pretty close.
00:14 You know, you go back and you watch the film and you ask yourself,
00:17 "Okay, what is holding us back from scoring on every single drive?"
00:21 And it's small details, whether that's me or a line or a receiver, whatever it is.
00:26 You know, it's just little things that can easily be cleaned up.
00:30 And looking back on the film from week one, there's a lot to clean up,
00:35 and then I feel like everything's getting better and better.
00:37 So now it's how can we continue to minimize this mistake,
00:41 continue to minimize this error, and continue to build?
00:44 Because like I said, I think the sky's the limit.
00:46 Let's take a picture question.
00:47 How do you develop the chemistry with a wide receiver?
00:49 Like, Carnell, a young guy, you obviously, he is with Marv and Julian and Eka.
00:54 How do you develop chemistry with a young receiver?
00:56 Yeah, I think the biggest thing for him that really impressed me
01:00 at this point he got here, he had a really good understanding
01:03 of just defenses and how his route, you know, changes based on what they're playing,
01:09 what kind of leverage to attack in a certain route.
01:12 And so anytime a young guy has that kind of vocal IQ, it makes my job a lot more easier.
01:16 And then I think just get as many reps as you can, as many reps as you can get with him,
01:21 and just continue to build that chemistry.
01:23 And I think he's taken some really good strides.
01:25 And, you know, obviously, I think the sky's the limit for that kid.
01:29 You know, so excited to see where his career takes him.
01:31 Final question for Kyle, Dan Hope, 11 Warriors.
01:34 We got to wrap it up with JT, please.
01:35 Yeah, Kyle, I mean, you guys have had a knack, whether it was Notre Dame, Maryland today,
01:39 where when you guys needed a drive in the fourth quarter, you were able to come up with it.
01:43 What do you think it is that's kind of allowed you guys in those clutch moments to find that under the gear?
01:48 Yeah, I think that's a good question.
01:51 I think the biggest thing is what we talked about, just competitive excellence.
01:55 When someone needs to make a play, whether that's me just putting the ball in a one-on-one situation,
02:01 letting a guy go up and make a catch, or someone winning on a route,
02:04 or the line making a good block up front, opening up the run, whatever it is,
02:08 I feel like the guys have responded to that every single time.
02:11 And, you know, obviously, we like to get that going early on.
02:15 But I would much rather have a team say that, you know,
02:19 we start slow and finish really well than vice versa.
02:22 So we just need to continue to keep building on that and ask ourselves,
02:27 how can we do that earlier in the game?
