Go North East drivers to strike again indefinitely. The new Tyne and Wear Metro Trains have been out through special tests to make sure they can handle full capacity. And finally a blue plaque has been unveiled in honour of North Shields black rights activist Charles Minto.

00:05 The Unite Union representing Go North East bus drivers have planned further strike action
00:10 that could continue for an indefinite period.
00:13 Workers took part in strike action recently for two weeks but now Unite have planned indefinite
00:18 strike action from the 28th of October.
00:20 Go North East have said that they are doing all they can to resolve the dispute as quickly
00:24 as possible.
00:25 In New Tenerwee a metro trains have been put through special tests to make sure they can
00:30 handle a full capacity.
00:32 The crush load testing checks the new trains work when the carriage is full and the tests
00:37 have gone well.
00:38 And finally a blue plaque has been unveiled in honour of North Shields black rights activist
00:42 Charles Mintow.
00:43 Charles fought to provide so many rights for hundreds of black people who lived in North
00:47 Shields and he has now been recognised further with the blue plaque.
