00:00 Psychopath started in 2018 with just one maze as almost a tester and every year since then
00:08 the place has just got bigger, better and a bit scarier.
00:12 So we'll come to the table with a bit of a three, four year plan of what we want to build.
00:17 We also want to scare people in different ways and interact with people in a different
00:20 way.
00:21 So every one of our mazes now, we were looking for different trigger points in people.
00:26 So whereby ice cream is a certain way but then we have Thunderdome which was kind of
00:30 last year's new one which is electronic, electric shocks through pads which is kind of like
00:35 paintball with electric shocks.
00:37 Crawl space is a new one this year which is a different way of getting people to have
00:41 to contort their body, having to deal with confined spaces, intensity of the actors,
00:48 intensity of the space, different vulnerability areas of where you physically will be positioned
00:54 and kind of attacked from.
00:57 And then we have The Hunt this year which is another new one which wasn't going to be
01:00 the same year but we've done The Hunt as well.
01:02 The Hunt is a different sort of pursuit style chase maze.
01:07 I don't want to give too much away but if you look at the online video, we give you
01:11 kind of like a necklace and a head guard because we don't want people running into each other
01:15 at 100 million miles an hour and hurting themselves.
01:18 And that's a different reason.
01:19 So normally if an actor comes near you and you jump away but if you're kind of not that
01:23 squeamish, if someone comes near you, you're a bit like I'm not scared, this gives you
01:27 another reason.
01:28 It's kind of like reinventing the scare or reverse engineering it.
01:32 So even if you're not scared, it's another reason for you not to want to be near them
01:35 because you don't want to have your necklace taken.
01:37 So that's new for this year.
01:38 The team also created their very own film which guests have the opportunity to see.
01:43 They also decided that they would add more family themed things to the attraction so
01:47 it could cater to those who maybe don't want to be scared.
01:51 So we are here at Linthole Farm, the home of Psychopath.
01:55 Now I'm not one for scary things so I have come to their pumpkin patch which is next
01:59 door because it is a bit more my speed.
02:01 So let's take a look at the pumpkin patch and see if we can get some cool pumpkins.
02:06 Of course I picked a pink wheelbarrow to go around with and decided to pick the biggest
02:10 pumpkin I could find.
02:13 They had ones that looked like little pies which I had to pick up as well.
02:18 Then I made my way back to the tent to get them weighed.
02:23 As well as the pumpkin patch there is also the family fright fest.
02:27 With a wizard school or a clown school and a lot of stage shows, it is a bit better for
02:31 those who want to celebrate Halloween but don't want to be too scared.
02:35 As we walked around the site we spoke to Cristiano about how things like Psychopath and the pumpkin
02:40 patches have become a lot more popular.
02:43 So I think as we move on and as things become more and more popular it just becomes something
02:49 that I think definitely everyone will want to do regardless of whether they pick our
02:52 pumpkin patch or somebody else's, pardon the pun.
02:56 But I definitely think it is on the up, it is growing again, pardon the pun, but it is
03:01 definitely a fun day out.
