00:00 >> All right, enough of the answers.
00:02 >> Okay. >> Facing Tampa Sunday.
00:04 What is their offense?
00:06 And I guess specifically, Bacon Mayfield.
00:08 Well, because you guys have faced Bacon before.
00:10 >> Have we?
00:12 >> Yes. >> Carolina.
00:13 >> For the second week too.
00:14 >> Right, right, right.
00:16 >> That was last year? >> Yeah.
00:17 >> How many teams have you been a part of?
00:19 >> Four. >> Four?
00:21 >> Because he went to the rounds.
00:22 >> He went to the rounds. >> Rounds, Rams, Panthers.
00:23 >> Rounds, Rams, Panthers.
00:25 >> Rams. >> Rams, Panthers.
00:27 >> Browns, Rams, Panthers.
00:29 >> Tampa.
00:30 >> Tampa, okay.
00:31 Okay, once he left the AFC, he never looked back.
00:34 He's an NFC guy.
00:37 I think that they put together a game plan for us.
00:41 I think the first three games, they've been each and
00:43 every one of those fights.
00:44 It's something that you have to be aware of.
00:47 I think it more pertains to what our defense wants to do.
00:49 We have to be able to play all four quarters and
00:52 improve upon the reasons why we lost last week.
00:55 I think that if you hold a team from the previous week to nothing until eight
01:01 minutes into the fourth quarter, you should have a great chance to win that game.
01:05 So it's more about us this week than ever before.
01:07 >> How do you guys get back to that?
01:11 >> It's more about us this week than ever before.
01:13 So we're just focusing on exactly what it takes.
01:15 So we're paying attention to the minutiae,
01:19 the finer details of all of our plays.
01:22 We have exotic plays and we have blitzes, we have our base defense.
01:27 But let's iron the details out, let's everybody be on the same page.
01:30 If we were clearer and more crisp on how we wanna communicate on our line,
01:35 how we wanna communicate on our backside, I think the last two days of practice
01:41 would indicate that we're ever more clear and crisp on our communication.
01:45 >> You look forward to the Marshawn versus Mike Evans?
01:49 >> I don't know what that has to do with me and my battles.
01:53 But I feel like as our defense, we have areas that we want to take advantage of.
01:59 And I feel like over the years that has been an area that we have seen work for
02:03 us.
02:05 I do believe that, I mean, that's a tight matchup,
02:09 especially with the wide receiver core, of course.
02:12 But if the ball never leaves the quarterback's hands,
02:15 then we don't have to worry about that matchup at all.
02:17 So I would think that our defensive line would like to get more pressure,
02:20 be able to affect the quarterback.
02:22 If the quarterback actually has to read our defense and hold the ball,
02:25 that's when we're gonna see what things we collected.
02:28 >> Cam, have you seen the intensity of this rivalry grow since you came into the league?
02:32 >> You guys ask this every week, we face a divisional opponent.
02:36 Is there a rivalry between Tampa that I don't know about?
02:38 Like two weeks ago, was there a rivalry from Carolina that I don't know about?
02:43 There's only one real rivalry, and it's not really a rivalry.
02:46 But it's the Saints and then the black and blue,
02:51 I mean black and red team over in Atlanta.
02:54 They're usually leading black and blue after the game.
02:58 [LAUGH] But in terms of other rivalries,
03:02 they're NFC divisional opponents.
03:06 Rivalry's a little bit much.
03:08 >> How many fights and ejections does it take to get to rivalry status?
03:11 >> It just depends.
03:12 >> They're trying to build that up.
03:13 >> It just depends.
03:14 I feel like that one's more of a set situation.
03:19 In terms of the city versus city, in terms of our fans versus their,
03:23 I don't think they have fans anymore.
03:25 Like, once Tom left, huh?
03:26 >> [LAUGH] >> But in terms of rivalry,
03:31 you've seen bigger ones.
03:33 I think that this is a game that is on our books and
03:35 is the most important game because it's a divisional opponent.
03:38 And you have to take these divisional games like they're two games in.
03:42 >> Speaking of titanic matchups, Tristan Wurst moved away from you.
03:46 Are you gonna have to flip to the other side to see him?
03:48 >> I've got to worry about now rushing Baker Mayfield instead of Tom Brady.
03:54 Instead of, we're putting a formula in the game plan.
03:57 Tristan Wurst was a tackle.
03:58 He was really good.
04:01 Wherever he is, I'm sure he'll be really good.
04:03 But that being said,
04:05 I've always been more impressed about rushing the quarterback than rushing
04:08 a tackle or a guard or any offensive lineman.
04:13 They're people, I believe.
04:16 >> How have you seen this offense change under the new offensive coordinator and
04:19 obviously the new quarterback?
04:21 >> Yeah.
04:22 I think they do a lot of good things.
04:27 We talked about where they were a couple years ago when they had Leonard Fournette
04:30 running at a high flip.
04:31 We had Tom Brady, Newman, and Dillian.
04:33 Those guys are gone.
04:34 So now you've got new quarterback, running backs,
04:39 of course a wide receiver, core has data save.
04:42 They've got a potent offense.
04:43 And we have, again, we're focused on us.
04:46 We're focused on our defense and what we can do to affect this game.
04:48 It's not really about our opponents, it's about how well we can execute our game.
