00:00 You've got to have a chicken malted pie, haven't you?
00:02 It's not much to do without a chicken malted pie.
00:04 And it's got to be properly burned as well.
00:06 It's like it's cooked on Reactor 3 in Chernobyl.
00:09 Perfect.
00:11 Just great for half-time. You can't hold it.
00:15 You get it out the first minute and you finish it in 78,
00:18 because it's that warm.
00:19 So, beautiful, honestly.
00:21 And obviously a pint at the Peacock.
00:23 Yeah, goes a South White at the top of Easter Hill,
00:26 walk down, gets it grill time. Burger. Standard, really.
00:31 Get it and take it round.
00:32 We usually get a pie inside.
00:34 Some of them can be quite hot, to be fair, but it's not that bad.
00:37 They taste all right.
00:38 It's what you expect at a football game.
00:40 You don't come for Michelin-star meals, to be fair to you.
00:42 When I get up in the morning, I always put the Leeds chants on,
00:45 a couple of Leeds videos, get me in a sedent mood.
00:48 Every now and again, I might have a bit of toast,
00:50 and then I'm straight on to the strongboat,
00:52 and I'm keeping it real, brother.
00:54 I've been coming to Illinois for 50 years, so it's changed quite a lot.
00:57 But always the fish and chip shop is the first protocol, normally.
01:02 But habits change, and obviously kick-off changes,
01:05 so the times that you eat is different.
01:07 But all the burger outlets and the free traders around,
01:14 excellent, really, most of it.
01:16 I do hospitality as well, so that's pretty good.
01:18 They've upped the game on that.
01:20 It's absolutely brilliant.
01:22 The fans are fantastic.
01:24 We have the best fans in the country.
01:26 Might be the best in the world.
01:28 Something special when it is Match Day.
01:31 It's, you know, people become friends.
01:34 We've been seeing exactly the same customers
01:37 for more than 10 years since I was here,
01:40 and it's a very special relationship.
01:43 My personal favourite is a Spam Butty or a Scallop.
01:49 Off the menu, yes.
01:51 A very popular one, other than fish and chips, is sausages.
01:57 Cheeseburgers mainly, but it's over-expensive everywhere you go,
02:01 it doesn't matter where it is.
02:03 You can't beat that burger stand for me, and it's nice.
02:06 We always go to that one, cos it's the best one round here.
02:09 We have a burger before we get into match,
02:11 just get in, sit down, watch a game.
02:13 Yeah, no messing about.
02:15 Beer's terrible.
02:17 Normally, like, walking down to the game, you get to feel the crowd,
02:20 feel the buzz. Leeds always has a really, really great crowd.
02:23 Then I usually come to the Peacock for a pint and then into the game.
02:26 The most popular item is obviously burgers.
02:29 Chips and curry is the second one, probably, after that.
02:33 You know, it's just everything else, basically, that we sell that's on the menu.
02:38 Customer-wise, you start off quiet,
02:41 and then obviously as it gets closer and closer to kick-off,
02:44 you get busier and busier.
02:46 Usually I go inside the ground and get a pie,
02:48 but the burgers inside Peacock, they do sort of like Thai food,
02:52 which is pretty good.
02:54 Yeah, I'm more of a grill-type man, just over there.
02:56 It's absolutely... I love it.
02:58 I haven't been today, but I'm going to go later.
03:00 Every game, got to get some of their cheeseburger,
03:02 just do amazing food, honestly, great.
