00:12 this year.
00:14 And a group of foreign ambassadors and diplomats are also invited to come to attend this year's
00:19 convention.
00:20 Before the convention kicks off, the ambassadors and diplomats paid a visit to some local companies
00:27 here in Hefei, including NIO, an electric vehicle company, and also iFlyTech, which
00:34 focuses on artificial intelligence.
00:37 Now let's take a look.
00:38 Sir, what do you think of this car?
01:00 It is magnificent.
01:03 Very beautiful.
01:06 I hope it runs as fast as it looks.
01:11 It looks fast.
01:12 I hope it runs fast.
01:13 And it looks safe, and it feels safe.
01:18 Beautiful and comfy.
01:20 New Energy Vehicle is a big part of China's manufacturing right now.
01:26 And what do you think of China's new energy vehicle industry?
01:31 It is very progressive, because really we are running out of fossil fuels.
01:38 We need to clean energy to clean up our climate, to clean up our environment.
01:45 So China is setting a very good example.
01:58 Manufacturing is very key for developing countries.
02:01 China has been the manufacturing capital of the world.
02:05 And they've become the leader because they move with time.
02:09 They are not stagnant.
02:10 Our minister will be also visiting the EV companies like this one to see how best we
02:17 can collaborate in terms of attracting some of these EVs to have presence in Africa, particularly
02:24 in South Africa.
02:25 This company, iFlytec, really flies.
02:30 It is up ahead of many technology companies that I know.
02:35 It provides real solutions to real problems for the people.
02:39 It puts people in front of every opportunity they get.
02:45 They make sure that every development is for the benefit of the people.
02:49 I have a new translator given to me as a present by a friend, and it is helping me learn Chinese.
02:57 So each day I use it, I learn how to communicate better with my Chinese friends.
03:03 Thank you.
