00:04 Recently, the International Space Station
00:06 had a changeover of its crew, with a diverse group
00:08 of astronauts all hailing from different countries.
00:11 And that's why those aboard the ISS
00:13 are now stressing their aim for unity,
00:15 as they continue their work on the station,
00:17 especially as one of the astronauts, Konstantin Borisov,
00:20 hails from Russia.
00:21 The Russian, European, and American space programs
00:24 have long worked together towards joint scientific goals
00:26 in space.
00:27 However, after Russia's invasion of Ukraine
00:29 and the nation becoming a global pariah,
00:32 that partnership was in question.
00:33 Still, while things might be tense between world powers
00:36 on the ground, up in low Earth orbit,
00:38 they now say they're continuing their shared
00:40 scientific endeavors, with Borisov having this
00:42 to say during a recent broadcast.
00:44 And also, I want to point out again how important it
00:47 is to work together in unity.
00:49 And this is International Space Station.
00:51 We are the most international SpaceX flight.
00:55 Right now, you see five nationalities here.
00:58 And we are looking forward to work together,
01:00 continue ISS-79 and ISS-70 expeditions.
01:05 The new crew recently launched from NASA's Kennedy Space
01:08 Center in a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket just last week.
