00:00 Let's talk keys to the game and I've got these fancy new graphics and
00:03 everything I'm gonna put up on the YouTube channel.
00:06 So if you're watching there, you get that benefit.
00:10 But this isn't a really tricky ballgame, unbelievably hard ballgame.
00:17 If you look at the last line on the on today's show beside there,
00:21 it says do not fall into the Alabama trap.
00:24 And that is why this game is so tricky is what is waiting for
00:28 Ole Miss in 11 days is what makes this game so tricky.
00:33 This is a situation where player wise,
00:36 Ole Miss has better players than Georgia Tech.
00:41 Now Georgia Tech has better players than Tulane, but
00:45 Ole Miss has better players than Georgia Tech.
00:47 And if you look at this game and it gets played straight off and
00:52 everything goes as it's supposed to go, Ole Miss is going to win this football game.
00:55 Georgia Tech is probably gonna play better than they did last year.
00:58 That won't be hard.
00:59 It was 42 to nothing, but they're going to play harder.
01:02 And if you look at the betting line right now, the betting line in the Ole Miss game,
01:07 Ole Miss is favored by 20 and a half points.
01:08 The over under is actually gone up a little bit.
01:11 It's about 63.
01:12 It's gone up about eight points.
01:14 But I downloaded that graphic yesterday, but it's still at 20 and a half.
01:20 And this is a situation to where I'm like, hey,
01:25 Ole Miss needs to win this game on one point.
01:27 I do not care about spreads.
01:28 I do not care about lines.
01:30 I just understand where this game sits and what is coming up for Ole Miss.
01:35 Two of the three biggest games of the season are immediately following this one.
01:42 Two games that if Ole Miss comes out and plays well, Ole Miss can win those games.
01:46 Nobody has seen Alabama or LSU this year and said those teams aren't beatable.
01:52 So that is adding to the pressure of this game.
01:55 So what does Ole Miss need to do in this game?
01:58 And here is our keys to victory.
02:00 And I'm going to do the show today a little bit of out of order.
02:03 But number one is do not fall into the Alabama trap.
02:06 I'm actually going to do that last today on the show.
02:09 Number two is I want to see Ole Miss use a quick passing game against Georgia Tech.
02:13 We talk about what Tulane was able to do defensively
02:18 and how Ole Miss is being defended
02:20 and how teams essentially since Vanderbilt has defended this RPO offense.
02:25 I think quicker RPOs are the way to go.
02:27 Utilize the tight end.
02:29 Put more tight ends on the field.
02:31 Play the game by doing formations and get matchups that you want.
02:34 Now, if you want to do second and third level RPOs,
02:37 it's going to be problematic when people are basically
02:39 doing the Madden equivalent of engage eight.
02:42 And the third one is going to be continue to grow defensively
02:45 against a better offensive unit
02:47 because Georgia Tech is going to be a better offensive unit
02:51 than the Tulane Green Waves offensive unit.
02:55 And Buster Faulkner is the cousin of my co-host of SEC After Dark.
03:00 So a little bit of insight, believe it or not,
03:04 when it comes to the Georgia Tech program.
03:07 So really interesting stuff.
03:10 So we'll start off with Ole Miss needing to establish a quick passing game.
03:14 And this is what I honestly believe needs to happen.
03:18 Think back to what Matt Corral and Elijah Moore,
03:20 and Matt Corral and Kenny Yboa did in 2020.
03:25 I think that's a big thing that you can remember
03:28 that lets you know that the quick RPO game is a facet of this offense.
03:33 Now, the difference between Jeff Levy and Charlie Weiss Jr.,
03:36 we can debate that until the Cows come home.
