00:00 Thank you very much fellow Kenyans. I'm Bob Owino, Member of Parliament Mbakasi's constituency. I
00:05 want to give my position on the KYPA status, that is the Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association,
00:12 the status as it is. The Speaker did make a communication on the new officials
00:17 about on the new officials of KYPA and this has been rendered useless. This is balderdash,
00:27 nonsensical, gibberish and it has caused a lot of consternation, discomposure, disconfusion of
00:34 spirits. Oh, it has also caused a lot of discombobulation of spirits and as the Secretary
00:44 General of KYPA, the other day I did say that I resigned. I wanted to test and see my enemies in
00:49 KYPA. The people could start opposing me in KYPA. There is nothing like resignation as the Secretary
00:57 General of KYPA. I will give a way forward on what should be done in KYPA. The Registrar of Societies
01:04 did write a letter, did communicate to KYPA that whatever was done, the sham elections
01:14 is not recognised, it is not legal. Therefore, the coup that was planned by some members in KYPA
01:22 will not hold. As the Secretary General, I will expel five members without trial from KYPA.
01:32 They will stand expelled from KYPA without trial. I will draft a letter soon and if you go by the
01:41 letter that I have given the members of the media, members of the press, look at that letter that has
01:46 been drafted by the Registrar of Societies, it is very clear that only the Secretary General
01:52 shall call for elections. It is only the Secretary General that shall write a letter to the Registrar
01:58 of Societies, duly signed, notifying the Registrar of the changes that are made. Any other thing that
02:08 has been made is considered as a scandal sheet. So, the final communication will come from me.
02:15 As we speak, there is nothing and we still recognise Hon. Eric Wamumbi, the Madera MP,
02:24 as the duly elected Chairman of KYPA and Bob Oweino as the duly elected Secretary General of KYPA.
02:34 The others read the letter. So, if you know that you took place in the coup,
02:43 know very well that you are expelled from today without trial from KYPA, starting now. Thank you.
02:53 Thank you.
02:53 Thank you.
