00:02 What's up, Paul here from Guitar World,
00:16 and today we're gonna be checking out
00:17 a serious modeling guitar processor
00:19 that's not only a huge bang for your buck,
00:21 but incredibly powerful,
00:23 the Donner Arena 2000 Multi-Effect Processor.
00:26 Let's check it out.

00:33 The Donner Arena 2000 is a professional
00:35 guitar multi-effects processor
00:37 that boasts daring tones with amp modeling
00:39 and a total of 278 effects.
00:42 Wow.
00:43 There's also flexible multi-function operation
00:45 where all you need to do is concentrate on your playing.
00:48 Here's some key features that make
00:51 the Donner Arena 2000 Multi-Effect Processor stand out.
00:55 The unit features Donner's exclusive FVACM,
00:59 otherwise known as Forward Analog Virtual Circuit Modeling
01:03 tone processing technology.
01:05 In other words, makes it sound real authentic and tube-like.
01:09 IR sample length is up to 23.2 milliseconds,
01:13 giving you really high definition detail.
01:15 There's also 80 high-res amp models,
01:18 50 cabinet IR models,
01:20 and 50 slots for loading third-party IRs
01:23 for a total of 278 effects.
01:26 (guitar playing)
01:29 What's cool with the Arena 2000
01:37 is that you can see the signal chain,
01:40 and what's great is you can easily move
01:42 any of these effects blocks.
01:43 For example, simply click on this,
01:45 and you'll see the cursor move along the signal chain.
01:51 Select what you want, and then just move it
01:55 across where you wanna put, say, your amp
01:58 or your compression or any effects block.
02:00 It's really easy to use.
02:02 (guitar playing)
02:05 There's also a built-in looper
02:16 that supports up to 60 seconds of music
02:19 with reverse, double-speed, and half-speed options.
02:23 (guitar playing)
02:27 The Arena 2000 also has touchscreen control,
02:54 which is really great.
02:55 So if you wanna change or edit any settings,
02:57 say, for your amp, simply touch amp,
03:00 and up comes your amp settings,
03:01 and use the knobs here to change the values.
03:04 There's also a built-in drum machine
03:06 with 40 different patterns.
03:08 (drum playing)
03:11 One of the coolest features that I really dig
03:30 about the Arena 2000 is the fact
03:32 that it has preset switching control,
03:36 which allows me to quickly bounce
03:38 between presets just in this mode.
03:40 But say I'm on a particular preset,
03:42 simply hold, and it puts me into control mode,
03:47 which allows me to actually turn effects on or off,
03:50 or turn whatever I want on or off,
03:54 or select and bring something in.
03:55 So added versatility to the preset,
04:00 and then simply click back
04:02 to go back to preset switching mode.

04:46 It also features a built-in EXP1 expression pedal and
04:49 external EXP2 expression pedal.
04:51 There's also computer software for the unit for tone editing, backup, and
04:56 firmware updates.
04:57 And you can also fine tune the parameters via Arena's companion mobile smart app.

05:38 of high fidelity amp and effects, along with a looper and
