00:00 We're here because this is the end of the tree protection period as sort of stated by the
00:06 developer, although we have had some good news yesterday that they are going to extend that until
00:11 the end of the judicial review process. So there is no immediate threat to the trees, but of course
00:17 we didn't know that on Wednesday when we called for a small protest just to mark this. Today's a
00:23 small friendly protest, we're not blocking anybody, we're not ruining anybody's day,
00:29 we're complying with all the new laws, we're just trying to raise awareness that the trees still are
00:34 under threat and they are imminently in danger of being chopped down. So obviously these trees have
00:41 been here for 150 years, we want them to stay, everybody who uses the park that we've spoken to
00:47 wants them to stay, they're part of our heritage and they support thousands of mini beasts and
00:53 lots of birds and bats.
