00:13 This is the first time at the parliamentary level we have organised a convoy
00:19 about 10 locations to distribute 3,000 flags, Malaysian flags.
00:27 Who is part of this convoy? All our community leaders from Zone 1 to Zone 6,
00:31 together with our police and also Jabatan Penerangan.
00:35 So they found this really useful because a lot of them brought their kids along.
00:39 Usually at the community service level, just the parents involved,
00:44 but now you get the teens involved also.
00:46 Many times we say if you want the voices of the young people represented
00:49 as to what's going to happen in our park, should this road be closed or not,
00:56 what kind of development should be suitable in a local community.
00:59 You need the voices of the young people involved.
01:02 And young people usually say, "I don't have time, let the retirees do it."
01:05 But you need a mixture so that you have balanced views when you are talking about planning.
01:11 So I'm very happy to see a lot of the kids involved today.
